I break the eye contact moving my face out of his hand slightly

He clears his throat and walks back inside "follow me" I go after him as we both make our way out of the room

"we have a library in this place since my mum loved reading"

Library?

A minute later we arrive at the library
My mouth shaped into an 'O' from shock

"Are you kidding me,this is sick"
I smile "sure is.." He looks around before turning so we make our way out to the next room.

"Aren't you a little Suprised about your life situation right now?" His voice spoke while his eyes kept focus in front of him "You think am not?" I play with my fingers

"Am standing in the royal grand with the Kings son about to get married.well technically fake married" I look over to him

His straight shoulders stood out,his sharp jawline and his perfect side profile catches my attention

"Married?" He slightly frowned his eyebrows "You got your answer didn't you?" I look up at him due to our height difference

"Wait you accept?"

"Well the sun is completely set and also you convinced me that something has to be done sooner or later because things will get worse if we sit back and watch"

I finish and its silence his eyes glitterd as he looked at me making nearly hard for me to keep eye contact

I break it now looking at the floor
"You have no idea what decision you made,thank you for accepting and I can assure you nothing will happen to you and I'll be sure to make your payment at the end of our deal"

"There's nothing going on in between us it's a fake marriage that will end sooner or later" I put my hand out for him to shake

"Understo-" Before I could finish I freeze my heart stops beating as I watch silas who's in front of me have the same reaction

An arrow stops just half an inch away from the side of my neck,its now floating

Silas's powers stop the arrow from hitting my neck,I look to my side watching as a clear bubble surrounded the arrow

I nearly died.

My chest bounces up and down as silas drops the arrow to the floor then turning his head to see a little boy shocked and scared

"What the hell was that?"
I finally speak "Me protecting my fiance" he looks at me and turns to walk towards the little boy

"now buddy who allowed you to walk around with that thing"

He gets down on one knee "Am sorry I didn't mean to" the little boy spoke Frightened with a shaky voice "Its ok but just don't ever walk with this around yeah? I mean look at it its bigger then you and you might even end up hurting yourself or even others"

Silas's pov:

I stare at her,her honey eyes lifting a pile of gold of my shoulders as those words leave her mouth

"You have no idea what decision you made,thank you for accepting and I can assure you nothing will happen to you and I'll be sure to make your payment at the end of our deal"

She breaks the eye contact now inspecting the floor.

"There's nothing going on in between us it's a fake marriage that will end sooner or later"

I look at her hand as she waits for me to shake it

"Understo-"
Alice stops talking as we both remain frozen

With my palm i use my powers to stop an arrow inches away from the side of her neck.I watch the fright in her eyes

I then turn my head to notice a little boy holding a bow and arrow "What the hell was what" Alice says

"Me protecting my fiance" I glance at her and make my way towards the little boy "now buddy who allowed you to walk around with that thing"
I place a knee down to be on his height

"Am sorry I didn't mean to" his shaky voice spoke while his eye sight was focused on the floor "Its ok but just don't ever walk with this around yeah? I mean look at it its bigger then you and you might even end up hurting yourself or even others"

"Okay.." He says in a low toned voice
I then kiss his forehead and he slightly smiles

"now go say sorry to that lady over there" I whisper to him and point in Alice's direction

He nods his head and runs towards Alice "Am sorry pretty lady"

I chuckle as I get up "it's fine just be careful from now on ok" Alice holds his hand and he smiles

"Gavin!" We hear a man's voice yell
His eyes in terror "my oh my am so sorry for the inconvenience my son has caused! I apologise on his behalf it was my fault for leaving the bow and arrow at him my prince" the man grabs the boy and bows his head in apology

"Please don't,it's fine just pay close attention to things from now on,He's a Child after all"

"Yes my prince,thank you"
He smiles and grabs the boy along with the bow and arrow making their way downstairs.

Some time passes by and am observing the night sky..the stars look as beautiful as ever,and then my thoughts start to kick in again.

I can't believe am doing a fake marriage with the prince am gonna start being known but being known leads to people not respecting your privacy anymore..

I bring my knees to my chest resting my forehead on my knees

I sight and convince myself that eveything will be ok,my father was brave he did everything for the greater good so i should too.

"Alice?" I turn around watching as kisho enter's the room "how's it going?"

"Its fine so far"

"Great to hear.so I heard you accepted Silas's deal" he places himself next to me on the couch

Does this guy normally get this comfortable with people he meets for a day?

"I did,and I did it for a very good reason" i smile for a second before crossing my arms "You should come for a drink outside,isla and another friend want's to meet you"

It's better for me to know the family so people dont get suspicious to why I just appeard in thin air.

"Fine but i wont be staying for to long"

"As you wish" kio jumps to his feet making his way to the door expecting  me to follow him.
