Continuation….

Peter Esama Street; known for habituating the most notorious hoodlums. If they didn't fight today, there would be an uprise between gangs the following day. It wasn't a new thing whenever one comes out of their house and meets a street fight, like the one that was happening right now.

“Why is it today that these people decided to fight ehn?” Ada wailed, stomping her worn out sandals on the dusty road. One word used to describe the fight was; bloody and sweaty. The odor of perspiration was oozing, it's no wonder the people steered clear from them.

“Let's go to Iya Moria's shop and stay small, before we run.” Mercy suggested. Iya Moria was famous for her Ewa Agoyin and her huge chunks of meat. “Aunty abeg, we fit stay here?” Bisi begged going under the shade. “You fit stay but no block my customers oo.” She snorted with a wave of her hands.

Customers? With the fight going? Shior! Few minutes later, after the tension of the fight had reduced. They made a run for it, with Ada at the front. If only she had looked before moving a step, she'd have been able to avoid the retreating blow aimed at her eye. Ouch! It hurt, really bad.

“Sorry sorry, let's just go like that. ”Mercy said, pushing her forward. They boarded a Keke that'll take them to Crystal Hotel and Suites. “Oga give me my change.” Bisi demanded outstretching her hand. The man smirked at her and drove past them.

“Thief! Thief oo!” Bisi exclaimed. Her shouts attracted passerbys, some looked while others ignored her. After all, things like this happen here and everyone goes on with their lives. “Bisi calm down naa, shey na ordinary two hundred.” Mercy huffed.

Getting into the hotel, Bisi received a call from the same man. “Go into room 145, it will be open. Wait for my call when you get there.” He ordered. Bisi looked baffled, why on earth would he want to see all of them? Luckily for them, they were able to bypass the receptionist without any suspicion.

“We've been waiting naw, abeg call am.” Ada whined. The ladies were already seated on the bed of the room; a beautiful and exquisite master suite, suitable for a King. Few moments later, his call came in. “One of you should come out to pick up the bag. It's right outside the room.”

After much contemplation, they finally chose who would go outside and pick it up. “Guy, this bag is heavy. Omo! Babes we don blow oo.” Ada screamed. “Calm down fess, make dem no suspect us.” Bisi chided, looking around. “Are there cameras?” Mercy whispered. “There should be naw but maybe the man had to run some things sha.” Bisi explained.

In as much as the ladies termed themselves as sharp babes, at this moment they were far from being called that. Unbeknownst to them, all the cameras were on and active; video and audio.

The content of the bag was enough to last them till their fourth generation but the problem was……

How far would they actually go with the bag?

Q O T D
