*this is around 7 so I have went back a bit in time for his pov*
I'm a bundle of nerves when we get to Xavi's (my manger's) office. I notice the pr head already sitting down at his desk. "Take a seat Gavi" there's only one seat and that's beside the pr head so I sit beside her. "Hello gavi, nice to see you again". "Hi Grace, how are you?" "I'm good thank you." Seeing Grace made my nerves die down as this meeting is probably about calming down in match's. Then again it's normal our therapist who does that. Yes the team has a therapist and we all have to go to her.
"Your probably wondering why I brought you here Gavi. Well Grace has wanted to make your image better for a while now and she thinks she has it figured out." Xavi says. I turn and look at Grace with my eyebrows raised. "Do you know that girl you ran into earlier?" "The one I gave my jersey to the little boy?" "Yes her. Well I think you should date her." "Firstly I don't know her, secondly I'm not going to fake date someone for months and thirdly she probably won't want to do it." Grace let's out a laugh and says "please she would defiantly jump at the chance to fake date you you are the golden boy after all. But it doesn't matter if she does or not because we aren't going to tell her. Your going to have to convince her and this relationship only has to last for a month and a bit." "I don't see how this will help with my image". "Well of Grace thinks it is it's worth a shot Gavi. You really don't have the best image right now between getting hot headed on the pitch all the time and ignoring your fans your image is starting to get tainted from golden boy" Grace then cuts in across Xavi and says "but if you were to track down this girl because you liked her straight away and you started dating it would be like a movie! And you can show people there's a romantic caring side to you". I look at Xavi "if you think it's what needed I will do it". Xavi nods and I know then I'm doing this. His like a second father to me. So I would do anything to make him proud.
"Wait we have a problem how am I meant to find her she's defiantly left so it's not like I can ask her for her number and I don't know her name." "Well good news for you is someone took a video of your interaction and posted it on tiktok. It already has millions of likes and her friend tagged her. I searched the same name on insta and I found her. All you have to do is click on her account and request to follow her." I wasn't sure about this. I don't want to use someone but I looked over at Xavi and he gave me a look which I knew was I needed to do this so I unlocked my phone, searched her up and requested to follow her.
