When I wake up the next day i instantly text Eimear. It's our routine now.

Will I see you later?

I know she won't reply for about another hour or two. She likes to sleep in till around 10. I head to get changed.

*At training*

"How's Eimear?" I turn to see Lewy. "She's good. I'm hoping to see her later". "Ahh tell her I say hi. You know I'm going to miss her when she's gone because then we're going to have a grumpy Gavi on our hands". Pedri slides his hand down his face. "Ughh no I don't want grumpy Gavi. Maybe we can ship him off with her?" "Hmm maybe we can!"

"Uh guys you know I'm right here yeah?" "Yep" "si we aren't blind!" "Well I'm not going anywhere. We will work out long distance I know we will. We have to I can't lose her. Plus I don't want to think about that yet let me enjoy my time with her now".

Lewy slings his arm around my shoulder "oh to be young and in love again". He lets out a dreamy sigh.

"WHAT! In love". I start laughing from panic "no
that's no us w-" "hey guys get back to training this isn't gossip girls!" Pedri and Lewy laugh. "Sorry coach!" Lewy runs off while Pedri claps me on the back "pal everyone can see it". Then he runs off after Lewy leaving me alone and confused.

*After the first training session*

We head into the locker room for a few minutes out of the sun. I check my phone to see if Eimear has replied.

She always knows. Pedri is leaning over my shoulder reading the text. He smiles and says "ahh that's our girl". And pulls away so I can have the rest of my conversation in private.

*I turn my phone off*

"We are going to the beach later that good with you guys?" "Si". "So because Eimear will be there" I roll my eyes at Pedri. "Right if you say so Pepi". His smile drops and he stares at me "don't". I laugh and stand up "whatever do you mean Pepi?" I run out of the locker rooms with Pedri hot on my heels.

I run onto the pitch over to Lewy "help his trying to kill me?" "Pedri? Pedri is too nice for that". I shrug my shoulders "I may have used a nickname on him". Lewy shakes his head "ahh that's your fault you know he hates when people use a nickname on him". "Si!" Pedri answers. Still trying to grab me as we run circles around Lewy.

"Si I know but he doesn't get mad when Eimear calls him by a nickname. Plus you refer to my girl I'm going to come after you". Lewy shakes his head and sighs "your worse then my kids. Pedri come on you should have known he would do something like this if you make a joke about Eimear. And Gavi you should have known he would react like this. With Eimear it's different they have a special bond". "Hey we have a special bond he calls me like his brother all the time!" "Yeah but it's not the same is it Pedri?" "Noh"
