Chapter 12

Gavi;

Its her. I can't help but look her up and down. She looks unreal. My eyes make there way up just in time to make eye contact with her. She has the most beautiful eyes. I don't know how long we keep eye contact before she turns away and goes into the water.

I hear someone clap me on the back to see Pedri grinning at me "you got a bit of drool there" "callarse la boca" (shut up) I reply by hitting him across the head too. His quick and hits me back. I take one more look at her. She's in the water with her little cousin having a water fight. God can she be any more perfect.
Ansu decides we should do a mini soccer game. So we do we split into teams.

Team 1; Me, Lewandowski, Ferran Torres, Sergi Roberto, Alejandro Balde and Arnau Tenas.
Team 2; Pedri, Ansu, Pablo Torre, Marcos Alonso, Frenkie de Jong, Ronald Araújo and Raphinha.

We are playing for a few minutes when I notice her get out of the water. I can help but stare. Pedri claps me over the back of the head and says "dude just make a move but stop staring you look like a creep". "I'm not staring it's a tactic to distract you so I can do this". I run and call Torres for the ball he passes and I make the shot it goes in "VAMOS!!" I scream. The score was currently 1-0 to us. That changed after about a minute as Torre scores a goal for them levelling the game. I take a glance over at her again to see her little cousin plonk down beside her. "Gavi that's it I got you" I turn confused to Pedri to see him kick the ball over to them. It hits her. "Predri wtf!" "Go be her knight in shining armour". I roll me eyes at him and start sprinting over to her.

I see her stand up I look at her and say "I'm so sorry. My friend clearly has bad aim. How his on the Barcelona team escapes me". I look at Pedri over my shoulder and shoot him a glare. He just smirked back at me. I turn back to face her.  "Can I do anything for you?"  One of the lads shouts to kick over the ball I was going to ignore them but her little cousin does. I hear Pedri say "what a kick want to come join us?" He turns and ask her can he and she agrees while letting out a laugh. God that laugh. She turns back to see me staring at her. She starts speaking "umm... thank you for giving him your jersey yesterday it meant the world to him". "Of course. I liked the sign" I can help but smirk. I can see her cheeks start to turn red. "About that I didn't say that, I promise".  "Sure. If you did or you didn't, you can see me abs anytime". Wtf was that Gavi. Your not some porn star. She bursts out laughing. Great. I made a fool of myself but at least I can hear her laugh again. I decide to roll with jt there's no going back so I act confused. "Oh your being serious". "Yes I am. That reminds me why did you decline my follow request on insta?" Great now I sound like a stalker. "I don't know. I don't know you". I smile "perfect because actually I was hoping to take you out for lunch?" I thought maybe she didn't hear me as she was just staring at me but then she starts speaking. "I would love to but I have my little cousin and we are only here for a week and I can't leave him alone". I turn around and look at him laughing with the team. "He can come with us. The team clearly loves him. Plus I need to make my friend apologies for his terrible aim." "I don't know". I look her in the eye and say "come on please?" She agrees. I can help stare at her and she stares at me. Shit I hope I didn't miss anything so I just say "ummmm hello are you okay?" Praying she didn't say anything. " Yeah sorry did you say something?" "I think we should start this again. Hello I'm Pablo Gavira but you can call me Gavi". She smiles and says " well hello Gavi, it's nice to meet you my names Eimear". Eimear I have never heard of that name in my life. I like it. "Yo Gavi come on, I'm hungry." Someone from the team shouts. But I know exactly who it is. "Coming Lewandowski!" "Right let's go." I grab her stuff so she can't argue. I hear her say "wait Gavi" she grabs something off the top of the bag when I realise it's her dress as she puts it on. I see the team all just staring at us. Those dimwits.

Here it is in Gavi's aspect. Sorry it's taking so long for them to get together but I don't want it o be rushed because personally I feel that's a bit too unrealistic but then again as if anything that's happens here would happen in real life.
