I'm finally back on campus from winter break. Don't get me wrong, I loved being around my family but I was ready to get back to campus life.
I looked down to see another unknown number calling my phone. Rolling my eyes I declined the call knowing it was Quincy. After what he said to me on Christmas Eve, I decided to block him. My mom and Miss Gloria were right, I deserved to be with a man who treats me with the utmost respect.
Ever since I blocked him he has been calling me from different types of numbers. I honestly have every intention of breaking up with him, I just want to do it in person.
"Come in!" I say after someone knocked on my door.
"Hey BB." Nicki said while sitting on my bed.
"Hey wassup?"
"Nothing. I finished unpacking and had nothing to do. Kelly and Michelle are sleep, so I decided to come bother you." She said.
"Well since you here, help me unpack."
"You know what, I think I got some work to do." Nicki said trying to leave.
"Girl..." I laughed while pulling her back by her arm.
She came back in the room and started helping me unpack my bags.
"So I see you and Jay are back cool again." She said while folding up one of my shirts.
After our talk at the Christmas party we are back to our old selves. That was the longest I have went in my life not talking to Jay and I don't ever want that to happen again.
I softly smiled. "Yeah we are."
"You want to tell me the real reason y'all stopped talking for that little bit of time?" Nicki questioned.
I sat there debating if I should tell her or not. I mean the only person who knows is my parents and we didn't even have an in depth conversation about it. It would be good to truly talk about it and get my feelings out.
"You remember at his birthday party when we went to the back so I could give him his gifts?" I asked, Nicki nodded her head. "We ended up kissing. Well making out." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Beyoncé." Nicki gasped.
"To the point Nicki that if Ty didn't interrupt us I don't know how far we would have went." I said nervously biting my lip.
"Oh my fucking gosh!" Nicki screamed. "And bitch you just now saying something." She playfully hit my shoulder.
I laughed. "I didn't want to talk about because I was in shock at the time, still kind of am."
"Is that the reason Jay broke up with Amber?"
I nodded my head. "That's one of reasons."
"Kelly gonna be mad as hell when she find out me and Michelle won the bet." Nicki laughed.
"What bet?" I questioned.
"We made a bet before we left for college on whether not you and Jay would get together. Me and Michelle voted yes." Nicki explained.
