3 Years Later.
"Bey let's go! Before we are late!" Nicki yelled from the living room.
"Coming!" I finished putting my heels on and grabbed my cap & gown off the bed.
"Aww." Michelle said teary eyed as she looked around at all of us in our caps and gowns.
Today we are graduating from theee Clark Atlanta University. I have known all of these girls since elementary/middle school and to be achieving this milestone together is beyond emotional. I couldn't ask for better friends/sisters.
"Michelle don't start." Kelly playfully said. Michelle really has been crying all week.
"I can't help it." She laughed.
"Group hug." Nicki yelled.
We all giggled before hugging each other. I said a quick prayer just to thank God for this achievement he has blessed us with. After the prayer we grabbed our things and headed to the car.
"I feel like all of our people are sitting together so they can be loud as hell when each of us walk across." Kelly said as we walked into the arena where graduation would be taking place.
"And they are! My mom texted me in the car saying they were all together." Nicki laughed.
"Oh gosh, this about to be a ghetto mess." I said as we all laughed.
I felt arms wrapped around my waist and I broke out into a smile already knowing who it was.
"Wassup ma." Jay said in my ear before kissing my neck.
I turned around in his arms and placed a kiss on his lips. "Hi baby!" I cheesed.
"Gang!" Ty yelled while walking up to us with Emory. We all greeted each other and talked for a little while before heading to our seats.
Me, Kelly, and Nicki are graduating with a Bachelors of Arts degree in dance and a minor in business. Michelle is graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing with a minor in dance. The guys are graduating with Business degrees. It wasn't long before we each were walking across stage and obtaining our diploma.
"BB" Rian yelled while running to me. The ceremony was now over and I met up with my family. "Congratulations!" She cheered on while in my arms.
"Thank you." I said kissing her cheek.
I made my rounds hugging my family, my mom literally cried when I hugged her which made me cry too. We are both big cry babies, my dad literally had to pull us apart.
"I'm so proud of you bumblebee." My dad said when we finished hugging.
"Thank you daddy." I cheesed. Y'all know I'm a big ass daddy's girl so just hearing him say that made me feel amazing.
We spent the next few minutes taking pictures with everybody. While taking a picture with the girls I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"Congrats babygirl." Jay said placing a kiss on my cheek, making me grin.
"Oh gosh, here they go." Nicki teased as they moved away from us.
