There Obsession

Chapter 9-Tanya

I really liked this place it felt like home  I often went shopping  with aunty's Jane and  aunty Eleanor and even  shayne   made sure I was   protected  it really felt  like the family  I had often dreamt of.

Something  else about this town was that I started noticing things weren always what they  seemed  I couldn't  explain  it but  it was like  one minute every one looked human  and the next I saw  pointed  ears  and  weird language   the voice inside my head  often told me  I had nothing to  worry about   and because I knew her I believed  her.

One day while shopping  a car pulled  up and I saw  margerite  mom she smiled and asked aunties  if she could take me  away from them  the smiled  and told her she could margerite  mom was so kind and  funny and had an eye for fashion  she always   stroked my hair  and  told me how  beautiful  and strong I was .

Her words  brought me  comfort  and soon I began seeing her in my mothers  place  I also forgot all about  how badly I was  treated  before  and it felt  like I had a normal  life  after our shopping and  beauty spa day mother margerite took me in the car   somewhere  when we stopped  I saw we were at a huge  palace  and the door had a type of dragon  symbol  on it.

When we arrived   the doors were opened  and a man stepped  forward  he looked like uncle cliff and daddy  and he playfully  teased  mother  she yanked his ears and he howled  pouting  but just as he closed the door mother stopped  him  she then told me to get  out of car   nicely and I obliged  she kept saying it was safe and no one would hurt me.

The man looked confused and when I left the car he took one look at me and  gasped before saying

"Margerite  is this her  Eric's daughter with that wench"

"Yes her name  is tanya  and  she never was Jolie child but mine and Eric's  I will explain let's just help  tanya navigate  her new home since school starts  in a week.

I went inside and instantly  I forgot to breathe  at the  sheer beauty of this place  it was eloquently  designed  and  all the stair rails were gold   the chandelier  was huger then the ones in aunty's house.

Everyone wore   robes or something  and   they all took one look at me and  bowed there heads   I  was so in awe of the  place that I  didn't even  realise  that  someone  was behind me   its only when they touched  me did my protective  instincts  came out and  I retreated  but saw  how my   body  toppled  over the  unfortunate  person  who dared  touch  me  I was still in my own mind  but I heard

" Tanya  tanya  are you ok "

When I didn't answer   i heard daddy say

"What the hell did you do Jerome  look at   tanya you scared her "

Then I heard my own voice that  sounded  slightly different  say

"Good morning Father I am aanya  Tanya's inner beast   I have protected her and made sure no harm is ever brought to her  dear uncle made a mistake  touching  her because that caused tanya to use her instincts and retreat into our  mind"

I saw my father eyes  change and  then I heard

"Daughter  aanya i am so glad to know how dominant  you are  and we thank you for protecting  tanya and her fragile  human mind but  her father wants to know if she's safe"

"Shes safe father dragon  i always protect her  no one can ever cause her distress  while I am around  I will return her shortly to  her body  after  I erase this conversation  from her mind   don't  worry shes safe but just know  her mind is becoming  stronger and she  knows this town is  not  normal  but doesn't  fear it  just  feels  curious.

For now I bid  goodbye, mother dragon,father dragon ,uncles and aunts we will meet again  sooner then later  and tell cousin  dragon to ease  tanya into this realm and no to force her  into it"

I soon blacked  out and   woke up in a elegant  room surrounded by  my family  I smiled  and in my heart I knew  that I was missing  something  important  but I shrugged it off then mother told me I became overwhelmed  by  the new location  and passed out I believed  it and began giggling  apologising  for being  such a drama boat  my family  chuckled  and made a joke that alot of people faint seeing the palace.

I smiled and mother went to the kitchen  and return with  bread and soup telling me to  eat something  light as dinner was at 7 pm I smiled and  ate  after I was done I met the maids and  butlers then I met Maria  my cousin  she was so beautiful and  funny and  I automatically connected to her it felt nice meeting someone who was my age a week went  by since  I arrived in the palace .

I knew the hallways by now  and i often caught  Maria in the  training room  she was amazing   and so agile   I joined her a couple of times and Maria  was always shocked  when the things she took years to learn  I did within  minutes   one day  daddy caught   us training  and   hired a private   trainer.

My trainer was as shocked as Maria seeing me  master the fight style  with constant food and  training  I gained  weight and muscle  my curves  also grew with  everything  else soon cane the start of term  and  I began to feel uneasy   but my private  maid    handed  me a bin and left to call someone   as I threw up.
