[•★Alhaitam x Kaveh | Slight Angst/Fluff★•]

★•~Nightmare•~★

(A/N: most chapters will be short from lack of motivation, but I'll try my best. Today is my bday, so I will try to make it good! :) )

Alhaitham was sleeping soundly, before he heard shuffling beside him. He groans, opening his eyes to see Kaveh moving around.

"Can't sleep?" He mutters, rubbing his eyes tiredly. Kaveh shook his head, Alhaitham brings him close, letting Kaveh bury his head into Alhaitham's shoulder, their legs interwined.

Kaveh fell asleep shortly after, his breathing lightening. Yet..just a few hours later, Alhaitham is (again) woken up by Kaveh's wild thrashing in his arms.

Nightmare? He quickly smacks Kaveh awake. "Kaveh!? Are you alright?" He asks, evident worry in his eyes.

Kaveh stares at him, tears treating down his face before he pulled close again, Kaveh crying sliently.

Kaveh had nightmares one in a while, but Alhaitham would always comfort him through it, humming gentle tunes to him to calm him down.

Alhaitham stroked Kaveh's hair, humming a soft tune to calm Kaveh down, wiping the tears away.

"Shh, my darling." He coos, kissing the top of Kaveh's head,rubbing soothing circles on Kaveh's back.

"T-thank you.." Kaveh sliently whispered after a few minutes of slience, his eyes closed again, he felt safe, secure and comfortable.

It was those times when Alhaitham actually showed he cared.
