It's 10pm and i'm so tired, there's one last customer in the shop before we close up.
I've never seen this guy before. He looks to be in his fourties, with grey hair and wrinkles. He comes to the front with a whole bunch of movies which we also sell and i begin scanning them.
"Can't you work a little faster." He glares at me. I snap my head to him.
"Excuse you?"
"Your working awfully slow like a fuck you are."
I hold back tears as i quickly scan his items.
"Twenty five dollars please."
"That's too fucking much."
"I'm sorry sir but that's the cost of all these movies."
"I thought this place was cheap." He rolls his eyes.
"It is, you just got ten movies so it will cost a bit more."
He throws twenty five dollars on the bench. No tip.
"Thanks for nothing you fat cow." He mutters before walking out the door.
Tears roll down my cheeks as i pack up shop. I wander my way home and go to sleep, feeling sad and exhasted.

I wake up and for the first time in a long time, i don't feel happy. I feel sad and angry. Why did i let this grumpy old fart get to me?

Me and Payton sit at the desk quietly.
"Are you okay? Your really quiet." She looks at me. I turn my head to look at her.
I begin to explain the situation that went down last night.
"What the fuck, that's crazy."
"I know."
We begin working, i click my pen and stare out the window. Not even doing what i'm meant too.
"Daisy!" The teacher snaps making me look at her as she's infront of the entire class, everyone now either looking at her or me.
"Stop staring out the window and get some work done." She yells.
"Sorry."
"Don't apologise and do the work. You know, you have so much potential but you hang out with Elijah and his friends but you could do so much better. You need to focus on school, school is number one." She spits.
