*ELIJAH'S POV*Today i am meeting Daisy's fucking parents. I'm fucking scared fucking shitless.
Yes, i've met them briefly but i've never sat down with them, talked to them, got to know them. And we're dating now, it's a lot more serious this time.
I'm not good with parents, i don't know how to act around them. They don't tend to like me that much.
I really fucking hope they like me because i know they are strict on random things and if they do anything to seperate me and Daisy i will not be well.
*Don't be nervous. They already like you. You got this boo boo*
Daisy knows me too well.
*Im shaking*
*awh Elijah you'll be okay. Ill be here*
She's right, if she's there i'll be okay.
I stare at my outfit one more time before walking out the door to my car.
my fit ^^
It's not my usual get-up of all black, navy or grey but i really want to impress them.
I walk up to the door knocking where Daisy opens with her gorgeous smile instantly calming me.
"Don't you look handsome." She comes towards me.
I smile as i give her a kiss.
"Come in, the house is a mess right now."
It's never a mess.
"Elijah, long time no see." Elise, her mother smiles at me.
I walk towards her kissing her cheek.
"Thank you for having me."
"No problem, it's a pleasure."
"Elijah." Daisy's dad Tyler rumbles behind me. I turn around to him.
"Hi Sir." I shake his hand. He nods a response.
"Do you like pasta?" Elise asks.
"Love it."
I try to keep my voice as soft as it can be. Daisy grabs my hand and pulls me into a seat next to her.
"So Elijah, do you smoke?" Tyler asks as we begin eating. I choke on my pasta and swallow it down with water quickly.
"No sir." I shake my head. One of Daisy's hand travels to the back of my neck rubbing it. I hold in my sigh of content.
"You drink?"
"Not often. I'm eighteen anyway."
"You drink drive?"
"No, only drink at home or Terries bar which is really close to my house so i walk."
He nods slowly.
I hope i'm answering okay. Daisy's touch makes me feel better.
"What do you want to do after school?" Elise asks.
"I think i might run a business."
"What in?"
"Organising FBI shit."
Fuck i didn't mean to swear.
They both nod. I can't help but notice how quiet Daisy is being infront of her parents. I know she gets nervous around them and doesn't want to disappoint them but it's weird for her not to talk.
I watch as Elise gives Daisy a small glare and she takes her hand off me. I snap my head to her as she stares down at her bowl of pasta.
We wrap up dinner and i wash all the dishes. Me and Daisy go upstairs to her room.
She lays on her bed with a sigh and i sit on the edge of her bed stroking her hair.
"What's wrong?" I ask softly.
"Just my parents are being mean."
"Why?"
"They keep asking you so many questions and stuff like they don't trust you."
"It's not their fault."
"Yes it is. There's nothing wrong with you."
I lay down next to her in the bed and she cuddles into me.
"It's what parents do, Sunshine."
She lets out a small hum.
"I love when you call me that."
I slowly smile as i kiss her forehead.
"I love calling you that."
Her mum opens the door to her room.
"Door stays open."
"Sorry." Daisy mumbles gripping me tighter.
I wish her parents weren't so strict. I think it would make Daisy happier.
