"Tell me what happened?" Nora asked Barry who sat on the stool in the living room. Brynn was swinging her feet back and forth not caring about the conversation her mother and older brother we're talking about
"Those guys were picking on kids. Just 'cause they thought they weren't cool. It wasn't right." Barry said as Nora cleaned his lip, "I know."
"I guess I wasn't fast enough."
"No. You have such a good heart, Barry. And it's better to have a good heart than fast legs."
Brynn jumped up and ran to her older brother giving him a big hug while jumping in his lap, "Barry!"
Barry smiled at his baby sister giving her a hug and holding her as the front door opened reviling their father.
"Hello." Henry said, "I'm home."
"Barry got into a fight."
"Oh yeah?" Brynn nodded excitedly, "Barry won!"
"Ah, way to go, Slugger." Henry said impressed in his son but quickly got shut down by his wife, "Oh, and no more fighting."
Brynn pouted, "No more fighting, daddy says so." Brynn lifted her finger pointing at Barry causing her parents to laugh at her before they shared a kiss.
"Come on, peanut." Henry said reaching for his daughter. "Let go get cleaned up to make dinner." Brynn laughed as Henry tickled the girl all the way to the bathroom.
Henry helped Brynn wash her hands before making their way to the kitchen to make pasta for dinner.
Dinner was over and night rolled in quickly. Brynn had just been tucked into bed when a loud noise came from the living room. Jumping out of her bed as ran to Barry's room which was right across from her room.
"Barry," Brynn yelled as the boy opened his door to find his sister. "Brynn, stay here. I'll see what's going on."
"But-" Barry oved Brynn into Barry's room a bit starting to walk downstairs, "Stay here, Brynn."
Brynn could hear yelling from downstairs but she crouched down beside the door doorway. Her little fingers gripped the door frame.
A few moments passed and Barry didn't return. Brynn got up and slowly travelled down the stairs and creeped up to the wall just before the living room. Flashes of red and yellow filled the room. Barry was in front of the girl yelling to their mother and her father just a bit in front of his son.
Brynn gripped the wall and hid from the flashes and screams in front of her. Within a second Barry had disappeared and the red blur went with him. Her father was knocked out landing up by the staircase.
Brynn looked back at her mother who was crying, helplessly on the ground as the yellow blur raised his hand with a knife. Brynn gasped making the two turn their heads in her direction. "Please," Her mother cried, "Don't hurt her."
The yellow blur tilted his head at Brynn before he lifted the knife to his lips shushing the little girl. Brynn shrunk a bit as he stared into the girl's eyes. Brynn's eyes shot to her mother before she could utter a single sound the blur stabbed her in the heart and pulling the knife back out.
Brynn's eyes began to water as she saw the blood soak her mother's clothes. The yellow blur walked towards Brynn who flinched away a bit and he kneeled down towards her. He lifted her face to look towards him as she whimpered.
"Shhh," The man whispered, "Don't be afraid." Brynn started crying as the man got closer to her ear, "Not a single word." Pulling away he threw the knife towards her father, "It's our secret."
And with that the man disappeared. Brynn was full on crying now as she ran to her mother, "Mommy?" Brynn kneeled down by her as she took small breaths. She was only a few seconds from being gone but she reached for her daughter's hand, "My sweet girl. I love you."
Brynn sniffled, "Mom-" Her voice was small and afraid. Nora just smiled at her daughter before her eyes flutter shut. Brynn jumped up and tried shaking her mother awake but nothing seemed to work.
Brynn slowly stood up from her spot of the floor, spots of blood trailed on her shirt. Brynn slowly made her way to Barry's room. She walked in and fell right inside the door, curling her legs to her chest. Laying her head on her knees and cried.
She cried till there was no tears left to shed. Her cheeks red and stained with tears and only slight hiccups left her mouth as she stared into the nothingness.
Brynn stayed this way until the flashing lights appeared outside her house and someone came looking for her. Joe was the first one to find the girl. He crouched down to he girl gently cutting his hand on her upper back breaking her out of the small trance she was in.
"Brynn, honey." Joe said softly not trying to scare the girl, "Are you alright?" Joe looked at the girl. Dried up blood was scattered on her hands but he couldn't see anything more than than due to the position she was in.
Brynn didn't react nor speak to him. She just looked in front of her. Joe reached for the girl, picking her up and holding her against him. Brynn laid her head against his chest listening to his heart beat as her arms were tucked into herself. Joe rubbed her back as they walked downstairs and out of the house.
Passing detectives and police officers she was taken to the ambulance. Joe set her on the ledge and a lady came to examine the girl. They continued to ask her question but she didn't talk to them. Not today, not tomorrow, not for at least 7 years. Brynnlee Allen was mute.

A/N Ok so the time has come. I'll try and post as many as I can through out this week but I'm currently across the states and will be driving home.
Also I will include face claims of new characters as they appear. And flash back as going to happen so hopefully they won't be to confusing.
