Calling - Unknown (Gaara)
Kagome: G-G-Gaara-sama?
Gaara: Yes.
Kagome *whisper*: Hold on, I'm heading to my room right now.
Kagome *made it to room*: Gaara-sama, what are you doing? How are you calling me? You're supposed to be hiding.
Gaara: I sneaked out of m families' beach house after everyone was asleep and when my bodyguards weren't looking. I'm currently at a diner using their phone.
Kagome: That's not safe! You need to head back. Nobody is supposed to know where you are. Heck, I'm not supposed to know where you're-
Gaara: I wanted to hear your voice.
Kagome *trying not to blush*: That- That's not a good enough reason...
Gaara: It is because I'm worried about you... And... I miss you...
Kagome: ...
Gaara: I saw the speech.
Kagome: Yeah. What did you think?
Gaara: I think my father will be mayor again. I also saw the breaking news about yakuzas being arrested almost all over Japan. As well as Kimimaro being the one who informed the police before killing himself.
Kagome *hesitating to ask a question*: H-How are you?
Gaara: I'm fine-
Kagome: No. I mean, how are you really from... You know...
Gaara: ...
Gaara: I feel like going through my old self again. I'm often getting flashbacks of that night and getting panic attacks. I understand it was defense, but the fact that- siiiiggghhh.
Kagome: Gaara-sama?
Gaara: Sorry... Just talking about it doesn't help much. Did the police really believe Kimimaro killed himself after releasing those files? They didn't know that it was you who sent them those files or that he didn't-
Kagome: I covered it well. I worked hard for- *yawning* for days.
Gaara: You sound exhausted. You should sleep.
Kagome: I will, but I'm not done yet. I have one last thing I must do in the morning. And what you need to do now is go back before anyone finds you.
Gaara: May I ask one more thing before I do?
Kagome: Make it quick.
Gaara: Your uncle said some things... To me.... About your feelings for me is true. Everything you're doing is for me. What I want to ask is, do you really love me?
Kagome: Hold on for one secord, please.
Kagome place her phone down on her bed. Then she marched over to the living room where her uncle is still asleep on the couch. With one hand, she slapped the left side of his cheek hard.
"OW! WHAT THE F***!" Baki screams out and rubs his cheek before finally seeing her in anger and mostly confused.
"I don't need you to fix my love life, so stay out of it! But thank you anyway!" She screamed at him before returning to her room and picking up her phone.
Kagome: Gaara-sama? Are you still there? Gaara-sama?
Gaara: Ah, yes. Sorry, a waitress told me that if I don't plan on eating here, then I will have to stop using their phone and leave now.
