"That's it for today. Thank you for attending." With that said, Jimin closed his laptop and looked at everyone in the room while fixing his glasses. Everyone present in the meeting room prepared to leave.
"That was a good presentation, Mr.Park, we are looking forward to this collaboration." Yeong-Cheol, the CEO of Wensly Corp said and smiled.
"We'll do our best sir," Jimin said shortly. He was a 27-year-old successful, headhunting consultant at the esteemed HYBE Corps. He has an almost non-existing social life and devotes his entire time to his work.
Jimin prepared to leave since his working hours were over but paused as he vaguely remembered his boss saying something about introducing his cousin's son to the employees who would shortly join the firm as a new executive.
Jimin groaned to himself at the thought of having to stay behind. Honestly, he just wishes to bury himself in a good book wrapped in a warm blanket by the fire with a cup of coffee or even better a cup of hot chocolate.
Jimin joined his boss shortly at the lobby to greet the new member. He had a small bouquet in his arms, which his boss gave him and asked him to present to Yun-seo, his cousin's son and Jimin's new colleague.
The minute the black Mercedes Benz pulled up in front of the lavish doors and the young man clad in an expensive suit from the house of Gucci stepped out, Jimin knew he was trouble. He was ravishingly handsome and Jimin heard that he graduated from the US.
So Jimin was not really happy that he had to present the man with flowers and welcome him but he couldn't deny his boss's request either so he agreed.
As the man walked through the glass doors into the building, his boss signaled Jimin forward. Jimin took a deep breath and walked briskly towards the newcomer with a small smile on his face, the one that represented professionalism, and extended the bouquet to him with a "welcome to HYBE".
The man scanned jimin from head to toe and Jimin didn't like the way his eyes lingered on his plump full lips a second longer. But the man seemed to have done it unconsciously because he folded his lips to a charming smile the next minute which made some of the female employees swoon and fan themselves.
The man extended his hands to jimin, which Jimin shook firmly.
"Yun-seo"
"Park jimin"
With that, Jimin pulled his hands away and walked back to his position near his boss. Yun-seo looked at his hands which Jimin just released and smiled to himself slightly, and followed Jimin to go greet his uncle.
All in all, Yun-seo was very confident and charming, and people admired him a lot but Jimin doesn't give his as much attention because he hadn't earned his respect yet. And Jimin's gut feelings say that this man means trouble.
