CHAPTER 2

It has been a few weeks since Yun-seo joined the company and Jimin definitely was not enjoying his presence. And the more he hates working with him, the more he's assigned to work with him and this is frustrating him to no end. 

First, Jimin was asked to guide him through work and Yun-seo took it as a chance to stick to Jimin's side and did not give him the peace and solace that he needed to concentrate on work and the fact that he didn't know about professionalism didn't help at all. 

Second, Jimin and him were asked to prepare for the next board meeting together and Yun-seo claimed that he didn't know much about the company and that he needed help so his boss assigned his cabin next to Jimin's, and Yun-seo also made Jimin 'help' in literally every single element and Jimin ended up doing most of the work. 

And thirdly, Jimin doesn't like his attitude at all. He was over-touchy, cheesy, and flirty which made Jimin uncomfortable.

So all that in mind, when Yun-seo entered Jimin's cabin without knocking as he was about to leave, Jimin knew it was for no good reason. 

"Next time, knock on the door before you enter Mr.Seo" Jimin gritted out annoyed. 

"Oh, calm down Jimin, and why so formal between frien-" But before he could finish, Jimin cut him off interrupting him,

"Park." 

"What?" 

"You can call me Mr. Park, and no we are not friends we are colleagues" Jimin stated firmly. 

"Okay, Mr. Park do u have a minute?" Yun-seo asked mockingly. 

"Yes, I'd like to know why you unceremoniously barged into my cabin." Jimin asked back unfazed by the other's attitude, his amber eyes boring holes into the man's soul.

"The Wesley is holding a corporate party tonight to celebrate the newly made contract with our company and since you put together the whole thing, boss and CEO Yeong-Cheol wanted to extend the invitation to you." He finished in a formal tone, placing the invitation card on Jimin's desk. 

"I'm sorry but I don't attend parties" Jimin said not sparing the invitation a second look and went back to the file he was arranging. 

"This is a corporate party held by some of the greatest businessmen in Korea, Asia even and you dismiss it like that?" Yun-seo scoffed. 

"If it's so important, then you attend it, Mr.Seo, I'm not stopping you" Jimin scoffed back. Making Yun-seo chuckle mockingly and roll his eyes. 

"They are considering making you a partner you know." Yun-seo dragged on fixing his gaze on Jimin's face and watched with satisfaction as Jimin whipped his face to his and stared at him.

Partner in HYBE corps? That's a huge deal! Not even the dumbest person alive would miss the opportunity not that they'll get it in the first place. 

"I must say I'm impressed that they are choosing you to make a partner despite the fact that you're not a shareholder and just a mere employee" Yun-seo admitted, with a look on his face that Jimin did not know the meaning of.

"In a place where talent is valued, it doesn't matter if you're born with a silver spoon or not." Jimin smirked. 

"Talent alone will lead you nowhere sir, you need to socialize and talk. being moody and closed off and.... professional will not help" Yun-seo said eyeing Jimin from head to toe as if checking him out and undressing him with his eyes. If Jimin heard his comment or noticed his look, he didn't comment on it.

"So I take it that you're attending the meeting?" Yun-seo asked with a somewhat triumphant look on his face. Jimin ignored his look though.

"Yes" 

"Do you want me to pick you up? Maybe we can-"

"I can drive for myself thanks" Jimin cut him off once more not sparing him a glance as he took the invitation and the file and determinedly marched out of his cabin, already dreading the night that lies ahead.
