masquerade

tell me "i love you" make the flowers bloom,
remove my sky's gloom for a stolen second
embrace and caress me,
like you know my heartbeat,
wear a smiling mask and look at me
whisper my name like you do with hers,
intertwine our fingers like you loved me first
dance with me in this forbidden masquerade
and 'til they call our names,
lie to me, never fade.
