Makotos pov

We watched as the once sweet and kind chihiro crumbled under the guilt and pressure.

"It's true" his voice was barely a whisper "it's all true!"

"You killed him" taka muttered in disbelief.

"You're a dude!" Hiro yelped.

"That's so not the point you should be focused on" Hina shook her head.

"Why" taka's body shook with rage "why kill him? He was helping you get stronger wasn't he? He was kind to you so why!?"

"It was an accident!" Chihiro clutched his head as his breathing picked up "mondo he-he got really angry. I think I said something wrong I- I just didn't want to die!"

"Why on earth would he attack you?" taka gave him an untrusting glare "mondo hated people who hurt the weak" he's right. It's out of character for him.

"Mondo's sudden burst of rage was strange huh? Perhaps I could shed some light on it" monokuma popped up.

"Wait you know why he went berserko?" Hiro gasped.

"I sure do!" Monokuma grinned "it all goes back to his secret"

"I don't believe it's respectful to talk about the secrets of the dead" sakura said firmly.

"Look do you want to know or not" monokuma growled, clearly annoyed at being interrupted.

We all shifted uncomfortably. I felt bad but I had to know.

"You see mondo had a big brother named daiya"

"I remember him mentioning daiya before he attacked me" chihiro gasped.

"He admired his brother more than anyone but when the time came for him to inherit the biker gang he felt the need to prove himself. So he challenged him to a race that went terribly wrong"

"No" hina covered her mouth in shock.

"That's right" his button eyes gleaned with malice "Mondo's secret is that his reckless actions killed his brother. Too bad chihiro. Seems you picked a crappy time to push your problems onto him"

"It's all my fault" chihiro collapsed to his knees "I was so selfish. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry mondo"

"Well you can always apologise in the afterlife" monokuma grinned "let's give it everything we've got. It's punishment time"
