"I still can't believe it" I muttered as I lay down on the gymnasium floor "sakura. I wish I knew what she was planning"
"I know how you feel" hina sighed "I can't help but feel like it's my fault"
"Please don't say such things" taka rubbed her shoulders reassuring "you were nothing but supportive to her. That's why she did it. She wanted to help you and give everyone hope again. I only wish I realised that when she was alive" he looked to the side sadly.
"She knew taka, she knew" hina patted his shoulder.
"Besides now she's given us the chance we need to take down the mastermind" kyoko said calmly "sakura left us clues on how we got here. All we have to do is follow them to the source. If we find that out it will take us one step closer to the mastermind"
"Intriguing. I may even join you in this hunt" we looked up and to our surprise stood byakuya with toko shortly behind.
"Umm what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Didn't you hear me? I'm bowing out of this game. The only thing left for me is to destroy the mastermind and only you and kirigiri can help me with that"
"You're asking us for help?" Kyoko smiled in amusement.
"Tch it's just a suggestion. You should both be honoured that I'd even consider your help" he turned away with a slight blush. Is he embarrassed?
"Aww byakuyas part of the team!" Hina ran up and hugged me.
"Get off me! I don't need anything from you" he struggled out of her grip.
"I forgive you you big jerk! Let's all be friends ok?" She teared up.
"I said let go!" He growled
"S-stop cozying up to my m-master!" Toko said frantically.
"You back off too!"
We all burst out laughing. For the first time since we got here we feel truly united. Thank you sakura.
