"Please kirigiri-san wait" I ran after her while she walked on briskly. I made her pretty angry and I thought it was best to fix it as fast as possible.

"Please wait" I grabbed her wrist. She turned back to me with a glare.

"What?" She growled.

I flinched at her unusually sharp tone "I just wanted to explain myself. You see taka really needed to talk to alter ego in order to get some closer. I couldn't just leave him-"

"That doesn't matter" she said sharply "I understand that you wanted to help neagi, it's in your nature but you shouldn't act without consulting others. It causes trouble for us"

"I'm sorry" I looked away guiltily.

"No I'm sorry too. I may have gotten too emotional" she muttered in embarrassment.

"It's ok" I took her hand "everyone has the right to feel upset. It's nothing to be embarrassed about"

Her eyes widened as a slight blush appeared on her cheeks. I realised I was holding her hand and immediately pulled away.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't even realise-"

"No it's fine" she played with her hair "you just surprised me. You have a habit of doing that"

"I'm not doing it on purpose" I scratched the back of my head awkwardly.

Our small moment was cut off by the monitor switching on.

"Please go to the gymnasium at your earliest convenience for some new motive fun!" The screen turned to back.

We looked at each other in concern. That can't be good.
