"BRADLEY!" Katherine says while running after the man he was putting his belongings in his jeep. He was leaving the house they'd just bought together off base. "BRADLEY STOP!" Katherine screams finally making him stop but keep his back to her. "Babe- I- did I do something why are you leaving?" Kat asks in a pant having been chasing him for awhile now.
"Don't act like you don't know." He spat looking at her as if daring her to lie to his face now.
"I have no clue what this is about Bradley- just fucking tell me." Kat spat getting annoyed from his lack in answers. "Your dad pulled my papers. It's delaying my career. How long did you know that he planned to do this? Huh? Since we joined together? Before we moved in together? How long Kat? How long did you know?" His voice was cold and his eyes pierced her as Kats mouth dropped open in shock.
She truly had no idea of this.
"Bradley I seriously didn't know. I'll- I'll talk to him." Kat stutters as Bradley scoffs. "Don't bother. I already tried apparently I'm 'not ready.'" he says while grabbing his last box.
Why was he still leaving Katherine told him she didn't know of this?
"Your a liar just like your old man- I expected better from you. Maybe that was asking too much from someone like you." He spat bitterly storming past her.
"Bradley please- don't leave I- I didn't know I swear okay can we please just keep talking about this?" Katherine pleads and for a second he holds the drivers door open but doesn't move. As if he's contemplating, if he would have looked at her and saw the tears in her eyes he would have stayed. If he saw how her chest began to anxiously heave as she tried to keep herself together he would have stayed. He would have knew she was telling the truth and stayed right then and there.
But he didn't look back.
Climbing into the drivers seat Katherine felt her jaw drop slightly and her glare to go to his jeep. Her lip trembling as she cried collapsing in the middle of the gravel driveway hurting her legs.
Katherine sat there and cried for an hour....
And then she was hunting down her father ready to give him a piece of her mind. But- little did she know her father also got her papers pulled. He was setting her career back as well with the same excuse of them not be ready.
Really he couldn't lose anyone else like he had Goose.

The next day maverick had to take care of something leaving the group to have a day off together. Katherine still looked a bit sickly much to Phoenix's dismay but the girl refused to go get checked out.
