When Christmas came, Felix went to sleep with his mom.
He was perhaps a bit older for that, but he had missed it. He loved being embraced as he slept.

They got plenty of gifts, especially from Christophe, whom was feeling a bit lonely without his wife and step-son, even so he was celebrating with his own family and Corinne's.
Felix also received a new album photo from Cheryl. Unlike the first one, this one was full of photo of them all together.

There was official pictures of the wedding with him, or their trip to America, some Christmas pictures. And most importantly, pictures of a baby boy.

Immediately, Felix took them all out and started cutting his father out of every single photo.

His mother watched him with big eyes, and Felix realised he would have to explain himself.
"This is Cheryl, dad's new wife. I give her a year or two before she manage to leave him too. She gave birth in September to Tyler. And dad is always ruining my mood." he quickly explained.

He then stuffed a dozen of pictures he was on alone in his mother's hands.
"For you." he smiled.

Corine smiled as she kissed his forehead,
"Thank you love, i'll put them in my room. Mamie and Papi will be happy to see how tall you've got."

When the evening came, the two dressed up and headed down.
Felix had grown enough to be taller than her, she was a rather petite woman. Their clothes, deep blue and black ressembled eachothers, as to signify their family link.

Felix smiled to his friends while passing by, they were surprised of Corine's beauty, she was very graceful woman and it showed.
Felix was unrecognisable too, with his hair brushed back and only a strand of hair on his face, Corine had made sure her little prince would ressemble one.

He did not miss the spark of jealousy in the twins, mixed with the hope he would tire of staying by his mother's side. Though he did miss the pure amazement in someone's eyes, whom hadn't expected Felix to look so beautiful in formal clothes.

The champions started by dancing first, Felix had to restrain a laughter when seeing Harry dance, he obviously hadn't practiced at all.
Then, Corine had dragged Felix on the dancefloor for a waltz.

Felix himself wasn't a big fan of dancing, he liked the idea of the buffet way more. But to dance with his mom was everything to him, so he did his best. He wasn't aware of the look of pure joy on his face, that mesmerised more than one.

After eating, and waltzing, Corine had sent Felix to enjoy the rock concert with his friends. Then, he had sat next to her, and the two started talking while looking at other people dancing.
Felix was obviously tired, but he didn't stop until Corine started stroking his head like she did to him when he was little.
Slowly, Felix fell asleep on his mother's shoulder, where she kept stroking his head or back in a motherly way.

It was very late, and there were only a few left in the room, enjoying a slow dance on calm music.
Corine was approached by a boy she recognised very well.

"Good evening, you must be Draco Malfoy, am i right ?" she smiled.
The boy seemed surprised but nodded.
"Professor Snape asked me to bring Felix back." he said slowly, as if worried to be seen talking to her.

Corine smiled and looked at Felix, calmly sleeping on her.
"I don't feel like waking him up, do you think you could carry him ?" she asked.
Draco blushed,
"Hm... Yeah i can do that." he said.

With a kind smile, she carried Felix and delicately entrusted him to Draco.
"It's very kind of you, thank you very much." she smiled to Draco.
Draco looked a bit uncomfortable but nodded.

As he walked away with Felix comfortably laying in his arms, Corine noticed a caring smile forming on Draco's lips. She knew her son was in good hands. And deep within, she hoped Felix would grow to love that boy.

When he arrived to the dorm, Draco first made sure that everyone else was deep asleep before entering. He layed Felix onto his bed delicately, took his shoes and jacket off and pulled his blanket on him.

Felix curled immediately into a ball which made Draco chuckle. Felix was always the last one to go to sleep, so he rarely saw him deep asleep like so. He brushed Felix's hairs out of his face with his fingers and went to his own bed to sleep.
