Piper POV:
The group sprinted towards the place where they heard the scream.Piper was hoping it was Leo.She had missed her old friend.
Unfortunately it was not.
Instead was a girl about the age of 13 running circles around a monster that Piper didn't recognise .The girl had brown hair that fell down to her shoulder tied into a low ponytail.Red glasses framed her dark green eyes. She was wearing a gray hoodie and jogging pants.Over her shoulder slung a blue school backpack with pins plastered around it.
"Kid, hide!"shouted Jason throwing his spear at the foe and then it shattered into a fine yellow powder.
The girl stood there shocked.Thats when Piper noticed that her right sleeve of her hoodie had been cut of and her arm was croved in a badly wrapped in a bloody bandage.
"What the f*ck was that?!"the girl shouted.
"Language!"said Percy ,covering Nico's ears.Nico smacked him in the face
"Sorry "the girl said "but what in the world was that?!"
"A monster" responsed Annabeth "We should get you to camp"
"Woah"said Frank "How do we know she's not a monster"
"What do you mean 'How do we know she's not a monster'" the girl said,"What do you want to see my god damn f*cking student license."
"Definitely not a monster"Percy said whilst Annabeth rolled her gray eyes.
"What's your name, kiddo?"Asked Annabeth.
"Ezra"said Ezra"Also don't f*cking call me kid"
