Kintaro: The Descendant Of Yamoshi

Arrival on Namek - Age 762

Planet Namek. A formerly peaceful planet, is now overrun by Freeza's forces. The son and the best friend of a certain Saiyan from Earth are here searching for the Namekian Dragon Balls to resurrect their fallen allies. The Saiyan prince Vegeta and the Emperor of Evil, Freeza, are here to wish for immortality. 

"Vegeta, wait!!!" a panicked voice yells. He then screams in agony as his body explodes.

"Hmph, Dirty Fireworks!" Vegeta says, a sadistic grin on his face. His scouter goes off, and he notices a pod land a few hundred miles in the distance.

"About damn time he got here," Vegeta says before flying in the direction of the pod. Meanwhile, at the landing site, Kintaro steps out and examines the landscape. The blue grass and the green skies. He stretches his arms and floats upwards when Vegeta reaches him.

"You sure took your damn time getting here, didn't you?" He asks.

"Mission ran a little long. Where's Nappa?"

"Killed him."

"Why?!"

"Because I had no use for an ally that couldn't move!"

"You do realize that means only 3 Saiyans remain right? And only 2 of us because knowing you, you probably killed Kakarot." Kintaro yells incredibly frustrated. He then noticed Vegeta's face twitching when he mentioned Kakarot.

"Did you kill him?" Kintaro asked. Vegeta refused to respond. Kintaro figured that whatever happened on Earth hurt Vegeta's pride immensely and dropped it.

"Nevermind that. We're here for the Dragon Balls, right? Let's find them already." Kintaro says, flying off and prompting Vegeta to follow. While in flight, Vegeta explains that the Dragon Balls are located in the villages scattered around the planet.

The race to obtain the Dragon Balls began.

"Well, now look at that. Zarbon's over there all on his own." Vegeta said. The Saiyan duo managed to collect 2 Dragon Balls and kill Freeza's aide, Dodoria. Vegeta flew off to fight Zarbon and left Kintaro to find the rest of the Dragon Balls. Vegeta taught Kintaro how to sense ki, so Kintaro flew in the direction of 2 energy signatures in the distance.

Soon after flying off, Kintaro notices someone flying ahead. He sneaks up behind the person. They didn't look Namekian. Way too short. Also bald. Curious, Kintaro announced his presence after getting close enough.

"WAH! Holy crap! How did you-? When did you-?" he says.

"No need to fear. I'm just wondering what you are. You're clearly not a local."

The man seemed wary of Kintaro. Eyeing his tail he slowly raised his fists while confirming that he was not from around here. Kintaro then realized who he was talking to.

"Ah, you're from Earth. Never thought I'd see one of you here. No wonder Vegeta didn't want to talk about it," Kintaro says. "Relax, I'm not gonna hurt you." He continues extending a hand for the man to shake. Warily, the Earthling does shake his hand.

"Now tell me, Earthling. Who are you? And where are you headed to in such a hurry?" Kintaro asked. The Earthling, however, still did not answer any questions.

"Fine, how about this. I'll protect you till you get where you're going. In exchange, how about we team up? Keep the Dragon Balls away from Freeza?" Kintaro says, trying to strike a deal and possibly gain a future ally.

Slowly, the Earthling nods and shows Kintaro the way to a house on top of a tall rock pillar.

Very interesting, Kintaro says to himself as they arrive.
