The Emperor of Evil Makes His Entrance - Age 762

Kintaro arrives at the ship and places Goku in the healing pod. He grabs a cord and attaches it to an outlet on his armor, and the pod begins to glow green.

"This is an older unit, so I'm using my own healing powers to accommodate." He tells Vegeta. "Me and Goku are going to be out of commission for a while."

Vegeta nods and walks out of the room and into the hallway where Krillin and Gohan are waiting.

"You two! Guard the Dragon Balls! I'm taking a nap. And stay close, I like my meat shields in bullet blocking distance." Vegeta says before stalking off.

"I thought bullets didn't hurt you?" Gohan calls after him.

"Screw you. I'm sleepy!"

"Hey, Gohan. Both Saiyans are occupied. This is our chance to bring everyone back!" Krillin says.

"That sounds like that could very easily backfire," Gohan replies.

"Come on, it's perfect! We just need to find Dende, bring him here, and make our wish!"

Krillin flies off in search of Dende. Gohan sighs and gathers the Dragon Balls and moves them farther away, just in case Vegeta wakes up.

"Alright, Dende! Summon the Dragon!" Krillin says. Dende speaks the Namekian words, and the sky turns pitch black as Porunga, the Namekian wish Dragon is summoned.

"Holy crap, your dragon is JACKED!" Krillin says.

"You get three wishes, I'll translate." Dende says

"Woah, 3 wishes?! That's one generous dragon!" Gohan says.

"OK, we wish that everyone on Earth that was killed by the Saiyan attack be revived!" Krillin says

"Porunga can only bring back one person at a time."

"Wait, what?"

"One at a time."

"Oh, uh, now what?" Krillin asks before receiving a telepathic message.

Wish me back, the voice of Piccolo says, that will bring Kami back, and then Earth's Dragon Balls can wish the rest of these dumbasses back.

"Oh, that's a great idea, Piccolo! Ok, Dende, wish back our friend Piccolo for our first wish. And for our second wish, bring him to Namek!" Krillin says

The wishes are granted, and you can hear Piccolo yelling of frustration from somewhere on Namek.

"Wait, where's Mr. Piccolo?" Gohan asks

"On Namek," Dende replies.

"But where is he?"

"On Namek."

"Oh. So it's like a monkeys paw type deal." Gohan says. In the distance, Piccolo can be heard shouting, "NEEEEEEEEEERD!!"

Suddenly, Vegeta appears behind them, rage bubbling off of him.

"What're ya doing?"

"What am I doing?"

"Thwartin' my plans?"

"Thwarting your plans?"

"Are you?"

"... Yes."

"I'm gonna kill you! But first things first!" He says, grabbing Dende by the collar. "You wish me immortal right now or die!"

"You can't kill him he's the only one who can grant wishes!" Krillin exclaims.

"And I've got nothing to lose!"

Dende begins to make the wish when Porunga's eyes go black. He disintegrates, and the Dragon Balls turn to stone.

"Wait, what happened? Am I immortal?" Vegeta asks.

"No. Grand Elder Guru is dead, and so is Porunga." Dende replies.

"Sorry for your loss." Krillin says.

"No, this isn't good. I'm not immortal, and the Dragon Balls are gone. Freeza is going to...to--!"

Freeza stands over them, rage quietly rolling off of him.

"No, don't mind me! By all means. Give me some ideas!"
