"Raditz is dead," Nappa says, pressing a button on his scouter. Vegeta, just shrugs. He stands up stretching and says that didn't matter.

"Did you hear about those Dragon Balls though? We could wish for immortality, and rule the universe!" Vegeta says, surprisingly amped up. Nappa stands up with him and excitedly raises his fist in the air. Kintaro however, is less excited.

"So we are just going to ignore the fact that one of our comrades is dead?" he asks. Vegeta turns to look at him, a smile still plastered on his face.

"If Raditz wasn't even able to handle a backwater planet like Earth then he was worthless anyway. Besides the Saibamen are equally as strong and much less of a pain." Vegeta says.

"Anyway, I'm afraid I can't join on the journey to Earth," Kintaro says walking toward his pod, which was nearby.

"And why is that?"

"Because I have previous obligations. With Ocus," he said while stepping into his pod. "So if you don't mind I should probably meet up with him."

The name Ocus immediately caused Vegeta's smile to slightly fade. Ocus was a transfer captain from the Cooler Force. He was insanely strong with power that rivaled even Captain Ginyu, to the point where Ginyu tried to steal his body on multiple occasions.

"Of course. You may go. Besides there's no doubt me and Nappa can handle things." Vegeta said with all the confidence he could muster

With that, Kintaro rocketed off into deep space. Headed off to an unknown planet.

2 years later

"You have arrived on Planet Ohiri." The pod says after landing. Kintaro steps out of the pod and looks around. The place is familiar to him and he rockets off to his destination.

He lands in front of a building where a tall humanoid lizard is waiting for him.

"You're about 17.7 minutes late, Kintaro," he says, his back turned. "What kept you?"

"It was Vegeta sir, he wouldn't just let me leave," Kintaro replied.

"Time is of the essence. I-I do not have time to waste," he says, seemingly nervous about something. Ocus never stuttered. "Into the chamber, let's go"

Inside the chamber was a colorless void. There was also a bedroom, a refrigerator, and a bathroom.

"Now," Ocus said stepping into the void and getting in a battle stance. "Show me how much you've improved. Remember. We fight intending to kill."

Kintaro nodded and rushed Ocus, ready to tackle him. Ocus seeing it coming got in position to counter, but Kintaor teleports and appears behind him and spin kicks him sending Ocus flying. Ocus stops himself and responds with a barrage of ki blasts. With relative ease, Kintaro dodges the blasts and goes in for a punch.

The punch was caught by Ocus, who in response breaks his hand. "Sloppy," he says before kicking him in the stomach. "And too slow."

Kintaro looked down at his now mangled hand, quickly thinking through his options. "Oh right, duh," he says slapping his forehead before a green light glows from his palms and fixes his broken hand. "Always forget I can do that," he says to himself before getting punched in the stomach hard.

"Did you forget this was a battle?" Ocus asks, before realizing that Kintaro was fading away around his hand. "Wait, what?" Ocus says before receiving a brutal neck chop from Kintaro.

"Didn't see that coming huh old timer?" Kintaro says with a smirk in his voice.

"Don't get too cocky, kid" Ocus says, standing up. He then powers up more bringing out a new form. Purple spikes appeared out of his elbows and his temples. His snout elongated and his teeth sharpened. Finally, his scales turned from their usual green to a bright red. "I'm going all out this time!" He yelled.

Kintaro once again rushed Ocus but this time, Ocus disappears. He reappears behind him and Kintaro responds with a quick punch but again, Ocus disappears. Kintaro realizes he's now being outsped by Ocus and feels for his signature. Suddenly a punch from Ocus comes out of nowhere but sensing it, Kintaro just barely catches it.

"Someone's been doing their homework I see," Ocus says before firing a ki blast directly into Kintaro's side and punching him in the face with his own hand. Ocus then throws Kintaro back down to the ground and rains ki blasts on his body.

"GRAAAAAH!!!!" Kintaro yells, Suddenly changed. His aura, instead of being colorless like normal, was instead orange. His tail had unfurled from around his waist and his eyes were piercing yellow. He had activated his Primal State.

"RAAAAAAAAGH!!" Kintaro yells again, before, with incredible speed, blitzes Ocus and punches him in the stomach. He then grabbed the horns Ocus grew and threw him back to the ground. Kintaro teleported down before he landed and kneed him in the stomach before following with a vicious beam to the face.

Ocus was sent flying and rolling several hundred feet away. He slowly gets up and puts up his fists. Kintaro, now comparatively calmer than before, throws a massive ki ball at Ocus.

Ocus, of course, dodges, only to see Kintaro appear in front of him. Ocus, knowing this would happen, quickly ducked Kintaro's punch, sweeped his legs, and kicked him away.

"It seems you finally acclimated to that form of yours. About damn time!" Ocus yells.

Ocus, aware he was almost out of time, decided to wrap things up. Using everything he had left, he inhales and shoots an enormous blast of blue fire.

Kintaro, seeing the blast, fired his own attack.

"PRIMAL BURST CANNON!!" Kintaro yelled into the void before an orange bean explodes out of his hand and meets the fire in a swirling beam clash, both sides nearly equal in power. Then, with his eyes flashing teal for just a moment, Kintaro pours even more power, giving a thunderous roar as his beam overtakes the fire and hits Ocus full force.

Kintaro then leaves his Primal State and flies over to his master. Ocus lay smoking and back in his green-scaled form. When he sees Kintaro he sits back up.

"You've done well kid. There's no more for me to teach you." Ocus says, a smile on his face.

"Sure, just let me heal you," Kintaro says, but Ocus smacks his hands away. He sighs and looks down solemnly.

"I'm dying kid. By this time tomorrow, I'll be gone."

"Wait, what! You told me last time you had 2 years! How long have we been in here?"

"Approximately 5 hours but I increased the time dilation, so it's been around 5 months. The adrenaline from our battle was keeping me alive, while also draining everything I had left," he said.

"No, it can't be. I refuse to believe that you're dying so soon."

"Sure whatever. Look, kid the truth is I'm basically dead. I wanted to have this last fight so I could make sure you wouldn't die 5 days later. Now get out of here and survive ok? Don't stop training."

"But--"

"Go!"

Reluctantly, Kintaro left the chamber. He summoned his pod and radioed into Vegeta's scouter.

"Hey, Vegeta! Where are you? Still on Earth?"

"No, I'm on my way to Namek. Where the hell have you been?"

"Training."

"Whatever, just get here."

"On my way."
