'Anything' he says, clambering back on to the perfectly made bed.
'Find me a tree.'
'A- a tree? Thats it? I can do that.'
'Thank you. Give it to me in a week or i send evidence to the police.'
'Sure.'
She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek, and he felt a single tear drip onto his blushing face.
So that was that. That was the deal. If he brought her a tree within the week, he would be free to live his fantasy dream with Audrey. Maybe they could start a family, and he could let his children live the life he never had. They would never have to dance. Never be allowed to. He liked the sound of that.
Audrey said goodnight and went of to her room, and Ted finally slept. Tommorrow, he would find a way out of the walls, and find a tree.
