Chapter 8

We all said our goodbyes and I went home.

The visit went really well, I knew my parents would like that boys and vice versa.

When I pull up to the apartment I see Ella's car is parked in the driveway.

Girlll do I have a story for you.

She's in the process of moving in with her highschool sweetheart Zach so I haven't seen her since everything happened with Declan, plus she went on vacation for a month with him to Hawaii.

Lucky bitch.

Knowing her, she probably already had a hunch about him.

"Honey I'm home!" I announced walking through the doorway.

"Hey" She said she the couch.

She's holding a Chinese container of what looks like noodles.

"Hey, how'd your trip go?"

She smiled. "So good, and I have news for you" She said.

"Can you hold that thought? I wanna change first" I said walking into my room to put on some comfy clothes.

"No problem" She said.

I'm the type of person that as soon as I get home for work, comfy clothes go on.

I come back out into the living room and sit on the couch next to her, by my back is against the arm rest so I can look at her.

"Ok tell me"

She held up her hand and showed off her sparkling ring making me gasp. "Oh my god!" I screamed.

She grinned so big. "I know. We went hiking by this gorgeous waterfall and he proposed!" She exclaimed looking down at her ring.

I'm so happy for her.

"When are you thinking of having a wedding?"

"We're thinking a year so I have enough time to plan, and I was wondering if you'd like to be my maid of honor?" She asked.

I launched myself at her to give her a hug. "I'd love to."

"Ok enough about me, what's been going on with you?" She asked shoveling more noodles into her mouth.

I blew out a breath. "A lot."

"Well... Spill the tea bitch!" She exclaimed.

I can practically feel the excitement coming off of her.

"Well for one Declan is the father of my student Wyatt."

She gasped. "No fucking way" She said.

"Yup, and last week Wyatt asked me to go to the park with them. We ate lunch and played, then Wyatt went to go play and I sat on a bench and talked with Declan for a couple of hours."

"Wow. What did you guys talk about?" She asked.

"The basic life story and then he asked if I was related to my dad because of my last name, and you know how I usually get nervous when people ask me those questions?"
