Alora: The Nobody

Chapter 5

In the same store, I bought a pair of ash blue pillow case, a pair of beige pillow case, a pair of dark beige pillow case, and a pair of white pillow case. I also bought pillow case for my small pillow, 3 pair beige small pillow case, 1 pair ash blue and 1 pair checkered blue and white for the small pillow case. After that, I bought 2 thick bedsheets, 1 white bedsheet and 1 beige bedsheet. I also bought 2 blankets, color ash blue and color dark beige. Then, I also bought a blue carpet and a beige carpet for my bedroom floor.

After that, kuya Albie offered to me to buy me a small couch. And of course, I happily grab it. I immediately  chose a brown couch. Then, he offered me again to buy me a vanity table with a mirror pero humindi na ako. I told him that I'm going to use mom's vanity table with a mirror and I asked permission to dad already and he agreed since no one will gonna use it except me. Though, I already stated my reason, I felt kuya Albie really wanted to buy me a new one cause he still trying to convince me that it's better for me to have a new one cause mom's vanity table with a mirror looks too old for me.

Well, I actually like vintage stuffs that's why I don't have a problem using Mom's old stuff. Then, I told brother Albie that if he really insisted then he can buy me a side table with a lamp instead. Well, he happily agreed kaya nakabili ako ng two wooden side table that has the same color of my couch, two table lamp and 1 standing lamp.

The sales lady who's with us awhile ago politely told us that they will just deliver the things we bought to Navin Residence. Tumango lang si kuya sa kanya and I thank her happily and politely. Mabuti na rin yun at least hindi na hassle para sa amin.

Nang makalabas kami sa tindahan na iyon ay agad nag aya si kuya na magmeryenda muna kami. Agad naman akong pumayag.

"What do you want to eat little sis?" Malambing na tanong niya saakin.

"Hmm. I want sweets kuya!" masigla kong sagot.

"Alright. I know a place." Nakangiti niyang sabi sabay hawak ng kamay ko. Lakad lang kami ng lakad. Well, I don't mind cause I'm enjoying looking around, though, there's still a lot of people staring and murmuring about us.

Kuya brought me to a fancy pastry shop. Agad namang nagningning ang mga mata ko. Ever since I came here into this world ay puro gulay at prutas ang pinapakain nila saakin especially si kuya since siya naman ang nagluluto sa bahay. Well, kuya is actually a good cook. Masarap naman itong magluto kaso masyadong simple and plain lang ang pagluto like when he cook egg, egg lang talaga at lagyan lang ng salt. Yun na. Di gaya sa mga pagkain sa earth na sobrang malasa.

Geez, I want to eat food from earth especially Filipino food.Kung sana, pinayagan lang ako ni kuya na magluto eh di sana nakakain na ako ngayon.

Hays, Mabuti na lang may kanin sila dito.

Well, kahit papano pumayag naman si kuya na tingnan ko siya habang nagluluto kaya lang, he don't want me to help him cook kasi baka daw mahiwa ako ng kutsilyo o mapaso daw ako. He really thinks I'm too ignorant about cooking and using kitchen tools.

Hayst, bakit ba kasi bulag ang katawan na to dati, Ang laki tuloy ng adjustment ko. Marami akong gustong gawin pero bawal kasi baka magtaka sila.

There's just a few costumer when we enter the shop. Some of them looking at us and some of them are just eating or talking with their acquaintances. And the way they eat, move and talk, I'm sure they are nobles or huntians.

Huntians are the families or the generations of the greatest hunters in the kingdom. Actually, ang isang hunter ay maparangal lang na greatest hunter kung nasali ito sa top 5 and mangyayari lang ito through a competition every 15 years. 25 years ago, dad entered the competition and became the top 3 in the finals. Dad was very known cause he was the youngest person to be one of the greatest hunters. He was 15 years old that time. I also heard na kasali din ang older brother ni daddy and he was the top 2. Well, it was expected already cause they are from the Navin Clan, the top 2 family clan of the greatest hunters in the whole kingdom. Being great in hunting already runs on their blood.
