Knuckles hurt like shit. She woke up to find herself lying on one of the emergency beds that were extendable from the wall. She looked around. She was in the monitor room, where the girls used the cameras to view Y/N. She turned her head to see Blaze, standing and treating Amy, who was on an emergency bed just like Knuckles. Blaze seemed to be wrapping a bandage around her arm.

Knuckles grunted, grabbing on her pounding head. Blaze looked over to Knuckles, smiling.

Blaze: "Look who finally woke up."

Knuckles: "Ugh. The hell happened?"

Blaze: "You don't remember? Fleetway?"

Knuckles: "Oh, yeah."

Knuckles checked herself for wounds. Being a warrior, she knew all about treating wounds and such, as well as the medical procedures required. She didn't have anything major, but her head was horrible.

Knuckles: "Where are the others?"

Amy got up from lying down into a straightened posture.

Amy: "Knuckles! You're ok!"

Knuckles: "Thanks, Amy."

Amy: "Rouge Blaze said that Silver, Shadow and Tails were-"

Shadow: "We're back."

Amy, Knuckles and Blaze turned to see Tails, Shadow and Silver. They seemed fine, but Knuckles just wanted answers.

Knuckles: "Where were you three?"

Silver: "It doesn't matter. Amy, how're you healing?"

Amy: "It's going gre-"

Knuckles: "What do you mean, it doesn't matter?"

Knuckles got up from her emergency bed. She spoke in an annoyed tone. Knuckles was prone to getting mad easily.

Knuckles: "The way I see it, it's pretty important."

Tails: "Knuckles, we're ok! It's all fine."

Blaze and Amy were scared of an argument breaking out. Blaze, obviously, knew they were fighting against Fleetway. Of course, she wasn't aware of what specifically happened. But it's not like they'd mind her anyways. Blaze was always being ignored. She never did much fighting. She was just there. And she listened. Blaze was good at reading emotions. Tails was upset about something. Her face was wet, presumably with tears. But Blaze just put it aside. She didn't like involving herself in arguments. But she could take guesses about what this was about.

Knuckles: "Tails, I'm not an idiot. What happened?"

Shadow: "Knuckles. Stop."

Knuckles: "This is about Y/N, isn't it?"

Shadow: "You don't need to know."

Knuckles: "He's dangerous! We can't just let you go out and get yourself killed!"

Tails: "Knuckles, we're not kids anymore!"

Amy: "Guys, please stop fighti-"

Knuckles: "Tails, this doesn't concern you."

Tails: "Yes it does! I'm a member of this team, and I deserve to be recognised!"

Silver: "Yes, Knuckles. We were fighting Fleetway."

Knuckles: "I can't stand seeing you guys get hurt! You can't just go out!"

Tails: "And let him hurt other people?!"
