Ponyboys POV:
Drop drop drop.
Rain drops on my face and i stir lightly, opening my eyes, a roaring headache appears. I sit up and wonder why I'm outside and where I am. I think for a little then I realized what happened. Bob, Randy, and 5 other socs jumped me.
I get up, very weakly. I realized I was only a couple blocks from the house and just decided to walk in the rain, I mean, what would happen to me? Nothing worse than it already was.
Once I finally got close to the house my knees buckled and I screamed. I heard feet clatter against the sidewalk and my name but before I could answer everything went black.

Sodapop's POV:
"PONYBOY!!" I yelled as we finally got to him. He was soaked and picked him up bridal style.
"We need to get him inside, NOW!" I yelled as we started back towards the house.
'please be ok Pony, please!!?'
