Chapter Eight - A Cute Slug

Sebastian's POV

"Oh I have missed your sunny smile cutting through my sleepiness, Y/N!" I announce as Ominis, Lex, Imelda, and I reach the breakfast table to find Y/N already sitting, a smile covering her face. I take it whatever meeting she had with Ominis last night worked. He was still gone when I finally fell asleep around 2 am.

"Good morning! I'm glad to be back!"

"I'm surprised to see you, KlutzyPuff." Imleda chooses to sit next to her. "Thought you'd still be canoodling with the Gryffindor."

"What?! Garreth and I are just friends!" I see her look over in Ominis' direction. Did something else happen last night?

"Pretty friendly for friends if you ask me."

"Imleda, I told you he was just helping Y/N with something."

"What was that again? Lex, don't share your answer! I want to hear what Y/N was getting help with?" Ahh she's trying to catch them in a lie. I can see a panicked look cross Lex's face, but Y/N seems surprisingly calm.

"EEE I'm so glad you asked! Ominis, would you care to tell her what Garreth and I have been working on?" Wait? Ominis knows?! And is okay with her hanging out with him? What the fuck is happening?

"Imelda," Ominis speaks calmly, "Y/N enlisted Garreths assistance in creating Braille labels for the potions classroom ingredients." He pulls out his bag and removes a GIANT textbook that lets out a thud even when being placed down gently. "She also copied our entire text in Braille so that I will no longer need to rely on her for everything in that class."

Imelda goes wide eyed, "Holly shit, KlutzyPuff."

"It was a rather kind gesture from the both of them that I am very thankful for."

"Oh that reminds me!" Y/N suddenly stands and her eyes gaze across the room. "Ahh!" She grabs a muffin from the table and launches it, hitting Garreth in the back of the head two tables over. Nice aim! She gestures over for him to come here.

"Good morning to you too." He says sarcastically.

"Payment, as promised." Y/N removes a small package from her bag and hands it over to the redhead who is now all smiles.

"Hell yeah! You are the best! I could kiss you, I'm so bloody excited!"

Cutting in quickly, Lex hisses at the Gryffindor with a glare. "Don't you dare try and steal my sister's first kiss out of excitement for some stolen ingredients." Suddenly Ominis shoots water everywhere out of his nose and mouth, launching into a coughing attack from the failed attempt at drinking.

Y/N is quickly offering napkins trying to assist. "I'm fine..." he's able to get out softly. "Uhhh swallowed wrong."

Imelda stands to head out. "Well my appetite is now gone. I'm going flying!"

"I'll head back to my table too." Garreth waves to Y/N. "Thanks for these!"

With the red head officially gone it leaves only the four of us at the table. Finally! "Sooo what are everyone's plans for this lovely Sunday?" I ask with a knowing grin on my face.

"Well I -"

"WRONG!" I cut Lex off quickly. "We are all going to Feldcroft and visiting Anne!"

"That sounds lovely, Sebastian." One down! Thank you, Ominis!

"Oh yes, yes! I want to go!" Hell yeah, Y/N! Two down!

I look at Lex and give her puppy dog eyes. She's the one I REALLY want to go. Please. Please. Pleaseeee. "Alright, I'm excited to meet the other Sallow."
