Jealousy is always a petty example of one.
And that's Jermy's opinion.
He had watched things escalate quickly right before his eyes. He was right there when Andrew had a crush blooming on the girl in the next class. He was right next to Andrew when he asked Lexi out. And that never affected him. Never. But still watching Andrew's hand travel towards the inner thighs of Brent, made him lose his cool. That looked disgusting, and so did the things he did with Andrew, but nobody is talking about that right now. Biting down his tongue sounded good, but voicing out his pettiness while sounding like a homophobic jerk sounded better and the better it is.
Calling them out satisfied him in ways that it shouldn't satisfy him. Andrew stared at him, millions of unspoken words lingering in the thick air between us, but Jermy refused to feel sorry.
"What is wrong with you?" Andrew fumed, but Jermy never answered.
It was time to pay him back.
Yes, friends get jealous.
