Brent got a girlfriend and guess who it was, Pierson.
Jermy was heartbroken.
Was it because Brent and Pierson were together?
Or was it because Andrew knew all along and never uttered a word?
He might never know.
All he knew was, he was betrayed. He stood there like it hadn't affected every nerve of his body, but Andrew just seemed to see through him every time. He Pulled Jermy into a tight hug and Jermy did not fight. Andrew felt like the heaviest blanket that Jermy had ever felt. Grounding him down to the earth, but also suffocating him to death. It felt good, felt right. He won't be complaining about dying right there in his arms. He doesn't seem to find a reason to live anyways. Andrew never pulled away, and so did he.
A week went on and nobody talked about it. It didn't feel right to sit in the same room as them, but it felt heavy to be alone without Andrew. Andrew never once apologized but Jermy has already forgiven.
Maybe, friends do that, they betray each other and just hug things away.
