He saved me

Y/n's POV.

Today we recorded the story behind my character, I'm so tired physically and emotionally I just want to go home and cry until I feel a little better, my throat is screaming for a glass of whiskey.

I change my character's clothes for my own and head to my car, I was about to get in when someone called my name.

"Y/n hey."
"Hi Robbie."
"I just want to tell you that I'm really excited to work with you."
"Thanks" I said turning around to get into my car.
"Hey Lizzie and I are going to go to dinner at this restaurant I was wondering if you wanted to come with us?" He says politely.
"I'm not interested though thanks" I said getting in my car and driving out of the place as fast as I could feeling my tears burn my cheek.

I got home finally, all my workers had already left so I was alone with my thoughts that were slowly killing me, I don't know how to handle this pain I am feeling that every second that passes is more painful than the previous one.

Feeling like I can't breathe I walk over to where I have my liquor I grab a bottle of whiskey and fill a glass with the liquid and a ball of ice.

I swear my cheeks burn from the salt of my tears falling on them, I was about to put the glass to my lips and let the liquid run down my throat but suddenly my phone started ringing.

I put the glass on the table and answered the call.

"Hello?" I said.
"Hey y/n/n how are you?" Says Fai on the other end of the phone.
"I'm fine, how are you?"
"I'm really good, I was wondering if you want to go to dinner to hang out" he says.
I looked at the table and saw the alcohol 'what am I doing with my life, I promised never to do that again' I thought.
"Sure, can you pick me up at 8:30pm?
"Sounds perfect" he says happily

At first I thought it was a good idea to go out with Fai for dinner I could take out a nail with another nail but then I thought better of it and I don't want to repeat the same mistakes, I don't want to hurt him he is a good guy.

It was already 8:30 and he was outside the door waiting for me, I opened it and he was there looking at me with a smile that lit up the whole place.

"Hi" I said smiling.
"Hi" he said smiling back at me.
"So where are we going?"
"Well I know this restaurant it's delicious I'm sure you'll love it."
"Great let's go then"

On the way to the restaurant we were talking and we realized that we had too many things in common, we kept laughing about the most ridiculous things you can imagine, we were listening to music on the way and we had a karaoke session I never imagined I would have such a good time with him.

We arrived at the place and he helped me out of the car.

We sat at our table and talked about different topics, it was as if we had known each other for a long time and the conversation never ended.

I was feeling very comfortable with him, it was as if he knew how to behave with me which is strange because we haven't known each other for a long time.

"You are different" I said looking into his eyes.
"What do you mean?" He said furrowing his eyebrows.
"I don't know, I feel very comfortable with you."
"I like to hear that, I know you don't want a relationship for now and believe me I respect that and I don't plan to make you feel uncomfortable, I will wait for you until you are ready and we will be friends forever" he says taking my hand.
I squeezed his hand "I am so happy that you are my friend you came at the time I need you the most".
"Believe me I'm not going to take advantage of being your friend that's the last thing I want to do, I'll be here for whatever you need."
"Thank you Fai"

We had the best night of all laughing like little kids, got in the car and went back to singing at the top of our lungs all the songs that were playing on the radio.

"Thanks for tonight Fai, I had a great time."
"I had a great time too, call me if you need anything, I'm just a phone call away."
"I will" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek and walking into my house.

Lizzie's POV.

This week has been a nightmare y/n she won't talk to me at all she won't even look at me it's like I don't exist to her.

All this week Fai went to the set and brought lunch to her from her favorite restaurant, she looked enjoy the time she spent with him, they all the time laughed, she didn't even look sad that I wasn't there with her.

"Is he her boyfriend?" Robbie asks me.
"I don't know, why?"
"Well they seem very close."
"Yeah that's what it looks like" I said sighing.

Y/n's POV.

This week Fai has been on set to take me to lunch and he has become my favorite companion, he has become my best friend and he is the only person I have by my side now since Ari is on tour.

He and I have shared some amazing moments this week, we have gone skating, gone to the beach, gone hiking, worked out together, he has been my healthiest companion right now which is great.

Maybe if I hadn't answered his call that night the story would be completely different, I feel like he saved me from making the worst mistake of my life and I will always be grateful for that.
