I was glad to see my dads girlfriend wasn't with us I didn't want to hear her moaning about getting some designer bag that she saw at the mall that probably cost about 2000 dollars.
"Dad where are you taking me we've been driving for the past three hours now" he hasn't said a word since we left the museum and Cala wasn't much help with answering the questions as mr.Clark intended she would be
"A camp" was the only thing he said as he looked in the wing mirror before looking back at the long twisted road ahead of him
"What type of camp?" I said in a provoked tone
"A camp for people like us" Cala said taking her gaze from the window
"What do you by a camp for people like us"
"What I mean is where half-bloods meaning where the kids of gods and goddess whom have had a relationship with a human which makes us half human and half god or goddess" I didn't know if she was being serious or not
"Ok and how I'm I just hearing about this now ?" My dad let a a sigh
"It was for your own safety" the more I thought about the possibility's of why I'm just hearing about Demi-gods and the fact I'm apparently the daughter of some god just adds on to the pile of questions that are already unanswered
"What do you mean for my safety?" I said with a more harsher tone then I intended "why can't I just get a simple answer"
"Sometimes not everything we need to know is told" my dad said letting out a sigh before stoping at the side of the road
"Cala will show you to the camp" I let our a sigh before grabbing my bag and stepping out of the car but before I could walk away I heard my dad call my name
I turn to see him running up to me holding a small box
"This belonged to your mother she wanted you to have it but I just didn't know when the right time was to give you it" he hand s me a small leather purple box with a black ribbon tied around it.
"Thank dad" I said looking up at him before giving him a hug
"I better get going now you'll be safe here I promise" he said placing a light kiss on my forehead before turning to head back to his car.
I watched as he drove away into the distance whilst putting the small box into my bag before running to catch up with Cala.
