Chapter 29

Damion

"Bill?" I cried out as he just stand right in front of me with shocked look on his face. "Bill?! Bill, come on you starting to scare me and I'm a vampire!" 

"sorry, it's  just... The idea of me having the same powers as your daughter, kind of threw me off," I said shaking my head. "Let's say that you are right, what do I do? I mean touch her hand like we did a few minutes ago?" 

"Wouldn't hurt," I said as I slapped my right hand over my face. 

"Alright," he said as Bill started to reach out to slowly grab her, hesitated at first, but managed to do it and he was gentle with her too. At first nothing happened, but then we saw a big bright light appeared right in front of us. 

"I was right," I said happily as Bill quickly let's go of Sara. The light was hanging in midair as it got bigger and bigger like last time. Until it quickly consumed us. 

We screamed. 

Bill McGrown 

The light blinded us that we couldn't see anything. By the time we were able to see again, we were looking around and found ourselves in the cave again. Looks everything was back to normal. "There's one way to find out," Damion said as if he was reading my mind. "Try communicating with Athena." I nodded my head and tried to mindlink with Athena.  

"Athena!"I called her over mindlink. "Athena! Athena, are you there?" 

Minutes Later,... 

Athena

"Athena! Are you there?!" I heard Bill's voice over mindlink. "Athena! Can you hear me?!" 

"Yes, I'm hear, Bill, where are you?" I asked as drank a bit of water and watched Ariana splashes a bit of water on her face. We've been walking for about a couple hours. 

"In a cave, we found Sara!" he called. 

"Show me, the location, Bill,"  I said. 

"I-I don't know how to do that yet, Athena," I heard him say. 

"Yes you do," I said. Close your eyes, and  breathe. 

Later, I was able to see the cave and the location of the cave. I growled towards Ariana to get her attention. When she'd finally see me, I moved my head towards the direction of the fellas and ran to it with her trailing me. 

Ariana  

We arrived at the location where the guys were at and saw them with Sara. "Damion! Bill!" I yelled as we ran towards them. I noticed that Damion was holding our daughter in his arms. "Is she alright?" "She's fine, Ariana," I heard Damion as we stopped in front of them. Damion handed Sara to me, making me smiled as I hugged her and looked back at the guys. "Thank you," I mouthered. 

Then we heard Athena growling. "What is it, Athena?" Bill asked as he bend down on one knee next to her. 

Than he heard something in a distance and looked at its direction. "We were followed," he said as we gotten behind him and looked at the same direction that Bill was looking. 

"Who's there?" Damion said as we continued to listen the noise of what appears rustling of leaves from the bushes. 

Than we saw a dark figure appeared right in front of us. I watched Bill and Damion who was looking at the same dark figure as Athena and I. And from the way they were looking at it, they seemed to recognized it. 

Bill McGrown 

No! Not him. Anything, but him. I thought he was in jail. I saw Damion taking him away with his partner.  Why is Seth here?" How is he here? A couple of questions that Damion was asking himself, considering the way he was looking at him. "Hello, Bill, brother," he said as he step a bit closer. Wait? Did he say... Brother? Damion is...Seth's brother? 

"When you betray us, Seth, you are no longer my brother," he said very cold. 

Seth seethed and scoffed. "That's a lie, Damion! I didn't betrayed you, I just wanted power of my own." 

"And you had it, Seth when that evil witch grant you that wish," Damion said. "You think you can have both the power and your family. You knew that." 

"Why couldn't I have it?" he asked.  

"Why do you always want to have everything your way, Seth?" Damion countered. "Both mom and dad always did everything in their power to make sure you are happy. And never once you'd showed appreciation towards them." 

Seth seethed again. 

Seth Rogers

"How dare you?" I said to him. "HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO ME! NOTHING BUT LIES, BROTHER. BECAUSE WHEN IT COMES TO MOM AND DAD, I'D ALWAYS SHOWED MY APPRECIATION TOWARDS THEM.  FOR SOME IT WAS YOU, WHO SHOWED LITTLE EFFORT TO SHOW THE SAME LOVE AS THEY DID!" 

"THAT'S BECAUSE YOU WERE SPOILED, SETH," he yelled back. "WHY THE HECK WAS THE POINT OF SHOWING THIS LOVE WHEN ALL YOU DO IS SPATTING THAT LOVE IN SOMEONE'S FACE! NO Little brother, you had so much to learn. And from the looks of it, you hadn't learned... Anything." 

"Well, it appears it is you who needs to learn a lesson brother," I stated as I looked at them with a very evil grin on my face. I later found myself looking at his daughter as well at Bill. 

Bill who was kneeling next to Athena, looked at me with such anger and hate towards me. But that didn't phase me, considering that I had so many plans in store for him. But I'm not ready to reveal those just yet. After all, why spoil the fun. Taunting them so exciting. "With due time, bother, I will give that lesson personally in due time." I took one last look at all of them before taking my descend into the darkness. I couldn't help but to smile at them. 

Then moved deep into the shadows. 

Damion 

I followed my brother into darkness of the forest and noticed that he disappears into thin air. How the heck did my brother get out of jail? I looked around for him before heading back to the others. 

I later called Brain and told him about my encounter with Seth. Despite the fact that he didn't believe me. Brain went to check on him and told me that he was in his cell. My eyes widen so much that even Bill caught me. "What is it?" He asked as all of us walked over to our place, which was not far from the Alphas' house. 

We stopped in front of the door as I hung up on Brain. "What?" Bill asked as he looked at me with such angry eyes. 

I looked at him, hesitate to talk to him about what I've learned, considering that he just found out about Seth being my brother. 

Especially when he was his experiment. 

"So, Seth's your brother?" He asked.
