Chapter 25

I woke as soon as Athena did. I told her about my late night chat with Erick and this Sam, who appeared out of nowhere. "Oh, umm... That never happened before, not during a ritual anyways," Athena said scratching her head in confusion. Can't say that I don't blame her to be confuse, after all both Erick and I were. "Did something during the stages?" "Erick said I shifted into a wolf during the mermaid stage?" I said, shrugging my shoulders. "Other beside that, I don't remember." "odd, I been through the same stages as you did, but I only had Iris," she said, placing her right hand on her hip. "I even gone to the same ritual. That's something never happen to our kind. With vampires, maybe fairies. Not to werewolves." "God, people will think I'm a freak," I said. shaking my head, between my hands. 

"Babe! you anything, but a freak," she said, putting her free hand on one of mine. "Maybe, maybe Brain or Marcus knows something about this, considering they have been werewolves longer than us, maybe we can ask them?" "Yeah, maybe," I said. "It wouldn't hurt."

I watched Bill as he walked away to see the view of the mountains. Poor guy. "Mate, is worry," Iris said over mindlink. "Yes, I know," I said. "Having one wolf side is tough to handle, but he has to deal with two now. But I'll get in touch with Brain or Marcus, one of them may know something." 

In speaking of which, I send a mindlink message to Marcus to meet me here. After a hour later, he came with two warriors, who I ordered to a company Bill on a run. I wanted to talk to Marcus alone about what Bill just told me. And according to him, the only chance that a werewolf can actually have two wolf sides is by being chosen by the Moon Goddess herself, Artemis, for only one thing...War. 

This kind thing worries me. And I know that it'll just add on to Bill's anxiety. "Marcus, let me ask you something?" I asked, as Marcus looked at me. "Did you send warriors after me and Bill after we left the ritual last night?" "No my lady, that will be going against your wishes," Marcus said. "And I can I assure you no one else did either." "That would mean, Mate was telling the truth, Athena!"  I heard Iris yelling in my mind. 

I shifted into Iris really quickly and ran before Marcus say anything.

I just ran so quickly until I come across a tree breach and leap over it. Then I sniffed the area to catch Mate's scent. After a minute or two of sniffing, I continued upon the trail. But my heavens, he managed to get some distance in a very short time. I eventually caught with them and saw that Bill was in human form. I slowly walked up to him, started to rubbed my head against him and purred. "Iris," he cried as he turned towards me and started to pet me on the side of my face. He placed his forehead against mine. "Hey girl, what's wrong?" 

"You were right, Bill," I said over mindlink. "There was someone watching us. Athena and I quickly came over because we worried about." 

"Well, I'm alright, Iris, Athena," he began as I purred again. "I'm alright, my loves." He was different since Athena named Alpha, his voice was different and bolder. He was getting stronger. "You're different, Bill," I said over mindlink again. "Am I?" he asked looking at me. "Yes,"  I said. "Well, maybe it's the werewolf in me," he said and then it hit me. Bill's in heat. Athena hasn't had... Well, you know.

I quickly turned into Athena.

Why did I changed Back? I didn't authorized Iris to do this? "Athena?" I heard Bill calling my name. Now, I see why the sudden, change. "Bill, you okay?" I asked him touching his chest with my left hand. "I'm-I'm not entirely sure," he said as he grabbed my chin. "Something's wrong with me, Athena." "Yeah, you're in heat, Bill," I said as his face turned canine and back. He was breathing heavily. "Bill!" "What?" he asked confusingly. I just looked at him because I didn't know what to say next, and as I was going to say, 'get a hold of yourself.' He'd quickly and automatically kissed me. 

I moaned as he lean closer to me. I tried to get him off, but what's the point. Once a werewolf is in heat. They can't think for themselves, and with a male werewolf is no different. "Bill, we can't do this," I said as I finally managed to get him off me. "Not like this, you are going into heat way too quickly, normally a werewolf would wait 10 years before going into heat." "Yeah," he said as he kisses my lips for a couple of times. "Well, maybe it's time to change tradition. Besides, I'm not your average werewolf." Well, he ain't wrong about that. 

"And come on, babe, don't tell me that you don't want this too," he said as I stopped him again and looked at him confusingly. "Wh-What are you talking about, Bill?" I asked him as he looked at me. "Like you don't know," he said as I tilted my head. "You're in heat too, Athena. And it's drawing me closer to you in ways- in ways, you-you..." "He's not wrong, Athena," Iris said, over mindlink."I'm starting to feel us in heat too." 

"Bill, you okay?" I asked. "No, I need-need this," Bill answered, as he kissed for about a couple of times. I didn't respond to it for awhile, I wanted to him to beg for it. "Please, Athena. Please, I need this." He later lean closer and closer, making me moan enough to open my mouth for his toung to touch mine. Before I could get him off again, He placed one of my arms around his waist and placed one of his arms around mine. 

We were suddenly making out before realized what we done. We didn't care. We didn't even care if we being watched.
