Chapter 32

After whatever kind of magic that Ariana did on me I felt different. A good kind of different. One that got all the weight of the world was lifted on my shoulders. I never had in my mind that she would forgive after... After everything that I did to her. Even Damion told me to move on. As far as I am concerned my old life is over. This is my new life now. With Athena, my new love. With Damion and Ariana. The pack, Sara, who is so young and deserves a better life than this. Living in fear of a madman. And of course Brain, Damion's lifelong partner. All I gain because I came here searching for Ariana in order to receive her forgiveness for what I've done. Now that I have it, now that I'm free from feeling this anger about myself. This shame, I can move on. And by doing so there's only one thing to do. I got to protect them. Evening if that means going into hiding in a different timeline. 

I watched everyone as they continued to discuss about the situation with Seth. They continued just a few minutes  after that moment with Ariana and Damion, but I had to get outside, considering that the tension was getting to me. Ariana watched and decided to follow. Not that I didn't mind it. "Hey," I said softly as we both sat on the first step of their house. "Hey yourself, you shouldn't be out here alone," She said with a friendly smile. I chuckled and said. "Don't worry about me I'm a werewolf now. Whatever happens I'm sure that I can handle it." 

"Suuuuure," She said, giving me a friendly shove. "Just like you handled yourself, in there?" 

"Right," I said scratching my head. "Sorry about that. I guess, I just blew it." 

"I guess we all have those moments," She said turning her head to look at the stars. "I certainly did after I left you. Many times." 

"If I can get the chance to take it all back, I can, Ariana," I said. As her eyes were all watery. "But I can't, not even with my new powers." I sighed, looking down at me feet. 

"Oh, Bill," she said as she closed her eyes and rest her head on my right shoulder. I turned to look at the stars. But in the back of my mind, (and properly Erick and Sam trying to warn me) that Athena was watching us. I was about to look when Ariana continued. "Bill, I have a favor to ask you." 

"Anything, name it," I said. As Ariana looked at me. "When the moment comes, Bill," She begun. "And it will. Can you take Sara to another timeline with you? Please. I can't bare one moment longer knowing that Seth is out there hunting her as well as you." "Ariana, you don't need to ask me," I said. As I was little shock that she knows about my power. "Of course I will. As I said before, I  will keep her safe." She rushed to pressed her face against my chest and hugged me. I hugged back and place my chin on her forehead. "I promise." 

"Bill," I heard Athena calling me. I turned to stare at her. She stared at us like was surprised to see us together like this and then smiled. "We got to, the pack needs us, my love." I nodded and turned to look at Ariana. She looked up at me with a worried that reads. "Remember your promise." kind of way. I smiled and said. "I'll keep her safe, you have my word, Ariana." 

Then just like that, I walked away with Athena holding her hand and smiling at her.

After a long day and our runend with Seth. Athena and I were so tired. I was brushing my teeths as Athena was looking at my direction with her body leaning across the bed. Kind of creepy if you asked me, especially, when I know she wanted to asked that one question on her mind. "I know you wanted to asked me that question? So asked?" "I don't want to, considering I overheard everything that you guys were talking about.And before you say anything, no I was not ears-dropping on the two of you, we werewolves have a very good hearing." I just looked at her and didn't say anything. I mean, what is there to say? I'm still learning about being both a werewolf and Alpha. I didn't went through the proper channels. 

Not to mention, your dad tried to get rid of me. I heard Erick said. 

Yikes, talk about messed up! I heard Sam saying. 

I rolled my eyes. Don't get me wrong. I grew fond of these guys, but man! These two are annoying whenever they chance they get. 

HEY! I resent that remark. I heard maybe Erick. Or might of been Sam. Who is still a freaking mystery to me. 

Trust me guys, I have been trying to figure out my existence since I got here. I heard him say. 

"I didn't say anything, Sam," I said. Although I think Athena heard me because I thought I heard her say something like. "Did you say something, Bill?" "Nothing, just talking to the wolf sides that I have," I said as she chuckled. 

"I do that sometime with Iris," She said. I smiled as I slowly walked towards the bed. I was trying to be seductively, but that seemed to backfired on me, considering that I slide in with my chin hitting on the bed. Luckily a soft small landing, but still hurt. And what made the pain even more hurtful was Athena laughing at me. "Not funny," I said. I was kind of pissed off as I heard both Erick and Sam laughing along with her. "Oh COME. ON." "Bill, relax, I didn't mean that I was doing something that would pissed you off. I just thought it was funny that's all." 

"It's not you, Athena, it's Erick and Sam," I said. Shaking my head and rubbing my chin to make sure that it wasn't bleeding or scrapped or both. "Don't you guys have something that would help me take a break from them from time to time?" 

"Sorry, Bill," Athena said, as I slapped my face with my right hand and shaked my head with a moan. "Just ignored them if they get too much." I must of been drooling because she was lean in close to my face and kissed me on the lips. Next thing that I knew was that she grabbed me and pulled me on top of her. We both laughed.
