Mess… I was a fuçking mess.. His mess.. His to wreck..
Did I regret it? Yes!
But did I do anything about it? No!
Yeongum and I walked out of the cafe soon after. I was distracted with the event earlier and he took the hint.
"So are you and Taehyung not together anymore? I was asking because I saw the news and.. " Yeongum asked hesitantly.
"No. We're not. I think we never were. " I answered.
The atmosphere became tense after that. Only if he knew what we were doing in the bathroom.
"I'm sorry for asking Jungkook. It's clearly a sensitive matter to you. I apologize. " He said sincerely.
"No. It's okay. It's in the past. " I said to avoid the matter… "I have some work to do. We should get going "
"Yes. Let me drop you? " he asked.
"No. I will go. I came in my car. " I said and walked towards my car giving an understanding nodding to him.
He didn't argue or follow me further which I'm grateful for.
Here goes my idea of relaxing!
In the evening Yoongi hyung and I spent some time together. We discussed some of the ongoing deals that I needed to take care of.
"Uhm.. Bub, you should know something. The deal you made with the Kims was going on losses. The construction works are long done but nobody booked the apartment for future purchases. " he paused.
I was stunned to hear this.. "But why Hyung? The area is in the heart of the city. It's the most luxurious building in the country. Why is this happening? " I asked.
" I don't really know. But to our ease the major loss is not ours. We already gained our profit percentage from the land and shopping malls. It's mainly Kim who's at a loss. So, you don't have to worry. " He said.
But there was something that he was not telling me. Did Taehyung know this?
He may be a bad man but he is an excellent business man. I won't deny it. If he's at loss why isn't he taking any measures.
The only reasonable explanation for this was if someone deliberately put a bad reputation.
I needed to know what was going on. If hyung is not going to tell me, I'll have to find out by myself.
Next day, in the office..
Hyung had gone to London for some work. So the whole workload was on me. I worked before also, but not as the CEO. It was a different feeling.
But mostly it was the work that was driving me crazy. After dealing with the immediate work, I looked into Kim's deal. It looked clear from outside. But the more I dug deeper, the more darts came out.
That company was at stake.
What amused me most was that only 51% share was on Taehyung's name. He was still the major shareholder but last I checked he was the only shareholder of his company.
The question was who bought his company's share?
And why the hell did Taehyung allow this?
I was checking the latest transaction when Zack came in.. "Someone is here to meet you sir. "
"I don't have any appointments now. " I said.
"I know. But he isn't listening and he says it's very important ." Zack said again.
"OH God dammit! " I cursed being annoyed "Send them in."
He nodded and got out. Soon I heard a soft knock on my door before opening.
I was surprised to see him. Out of all the people I didn't expect him to be here.
