Onika's POV
EDA
November 15

"No, mommy!" Nilaya threw a tantrum when I picked her up.

"Nilaya Rose, you better behave." I reprimanded. Her bottom lip started to quiver and she dramatically threw her head back.

I ignored her cries and continued walking. Beyoncé was not too far behind me. She'd stopped to make sure Zamora had everything she needed.

I was also a little annoyed because when we entered the dance academy, Catherine was at the door trying to be buddy buddy with me whilst sending Beyoncé lustful eyes. Beyoncé didn't immediately notice, but when she did, she told me to ignore it.

"Mama!" Nilaya reached behind me, still crying her eyes out. She was still trying to wriggle out of my grip, but I held her good.

I finally found a seat, next to Brandy and her family. I smiled and leaned over to hug her. When we pulled away, she asked what was up with Nilaya.

"She wants to run around and play ball." There was a smile on my face but it wasn't a happy one.

"I'm buying her a customised basketball for Christmas." Brandy cooed. I gave her a look and she laughed. "Kidding."

When I heard Beyoncé sit down, I handed her our daughter before sitting down. Beyoncé comforted her and stopped her from crying. Nilaya kept sending me dirty looks with a pout on her face.

"Beyoncé, you better get your daughter before I do." I warned and Beyoncé instantly took Nilaya's attention from me.

We stayed seated for a while before the dance recital started. Through some of the dances, Brandy and I were just talking. When either of our daughters were on stage, we'd pause to record.

Our daughters spent every waking hour together. Not only at dance but at school. Additionally, they spent time outside of school and dance too.

The girls were in another dance together which was a really cheesy dance but it was still cute. They looked like they were having so much fun on stage.

"Zammy?" Nilaya pointed to the stage, asking Beyoncé.

"Yes, that's your sister." Beyoncé quietly clapped her hand. "Look at Zammy dance."

"Zammy good." Her little head nodded in satisfaction. "Go Zammy!"

When Nilaya yelled that, lots of heads turned and she didn't like that. I thought she'd hide her face but she stuck her tongue out at anyone that looked at her. Beyoncé found it hilarious and I clamped my hand over Nilaya's mouth.

She licked my hand, so I had to let go. Turning my focus back on the dance.

As their dance wrapped up, I got up for a well deserved bathroom break. Brandy came along with me.

"Mommy? I need potty." Nilaya called after me. I turned to pick her up and took her with us.

Not many people were by the toilets, so it was easy to go in and out. I did my regular toilet routine for Nilaya by layering it and wiping it down.

When she was done, I cleaned her and and did my business too. When we washed our hands I made sure to wash them for her and not take my eyes off of her.

Then I washed my own and we left the bathroom.
Brandy was already outside the mother & child toilet. The second we came out, we started walking back to the main auditorium.

As we did so, I saw a very familiar face, glaring me down from the women's toilet. I kept walking, holding Nilaya's hand but when we walked past her, she bumped me.
