Lily instantly ran to her bed in the dorm room and snuggled up under the covers, covering her head as she curled up into a ball. Thalleous sighed and sat on her bed in the dorm room, ''you okay Lily?''

''no! I'm just upset and scared!'' Lily replied angrily, then she covered her mouth, Thalleous looked down hurt by her words, '' IM SORRY!'' She cried as tears streamed down her cheeks as she emerged from the covers, Thalleous looked at Lily as he sighed, ''its okay Lily'' Thalleous lay down by Lily. Lily sobbed under the covers, Thalleous took the covers off her, he gently lifted her up and hugged her gently, Luna walked in as she saw the sorrowful scene, ''aww, what's the matter with her...?'' Luna asked concerned, ''She's just upset on what happened in the meeting, she yelled at me in a medium voice, but she's sobbing now and uh, I forgive her, and I don't blame her to be honest, if I was her age I would be exactly like this'' Thalleous replied, trying to make Lily feel better. Lily lifted her head up as she wiped the tears from her face, ''O-okay...''

''Oh, Thalleous?''

''yes?''

''We're going on a patrol with Hadion, Zulius and Hadion's brother, agh! I can't think of his name!''

''oh, its Galadar''

''right, are you bringing Lily with you?''

''that's up to her, but I think she should stay here because of the Voltaris-''

''NO! I'm coming!'' Lily protested, Thalleous looked at her with concern, ''alright...''

''c'mon then! IM READY TO FIGHT SOME VOLTARIS!'' Luna protested with a determined grin.

a couple of days later...

Finally, the small group arrive at Mt. Velgrin, Zulius looked up at the peak as terror shone in his eyes, the Mendorian brothers towered over Zulius as their thick armoured tails swished, Hadion scratched his chest plate as he looked down to Thalleous, who was a little shorter, ''soooo, are we going to the, ya know, the peak or whatever?'' Galadar asked, ''indeed, where the Nether portal awaits'' Thalleous replied as fear shone in his eyes, Luna pulled out her bow for defence, Thalleous pulled out his large diamond sword as his tail swished, then small group the started to hike the mountain.

Eventually, they reach the Nether portal, Hawken's body was no where to be seen as Thalleous had hoped, then, a arrow nearly hit Luna, it flied past Luna's neck as it landed in the snow. Everyone turned around in alarm, Voltaris were everywhere, but one of them stood out, he slowly approached the group with a toothy grin on his face as he raised an eye brow, "well, well, well. Looks like you've returned!" The Voltaris cackled as his barbed tail swished menacingly, Zulius pulled out his staff as his green membranes under his arms shimmered in the sunlight, Hadion and Galadar pulled out their weapons aswell.

The Voltaris eyed Thalleous, his fangs were clear in the light, "heh, to the rest of you, my name is Tygren Voltaris" Tygren said as his fangs seeped out of his mouth, making him look even more menacing. Lily looked around in fear, Thalleous looked at Lily and realised that she acted exactly like Hawken when they first saw the Voltaris, Thalleous felt a burst of guilt and sadness in his heart, then it turned to fury as he looked at Tygren, "you killed Hawken" Thalleous hissed as his pupils retracted, making his pupils slits. Tygren laughed, "killed? Ha! I decided to be nice..." Tygren signalled for the Voltaris to get something, then they chucked Hawken into the clearing as he bled everywhere, his face was as pale as the snow as he looked up with his lapis blue eyes, Thalleous looked at Hawken in shock, "...y-you...YOU SURVIVED?!" Thalleous stammered, Tygren stood on Hawken's back, making him scream in pain, Thalleous lunged at Tygren with fire in his eyes as he hissed, "HOW DARE YOU KEEP HIM IN THAT CONDITION!" Thalleous bellowed in Tygren's face, Tygren got his barbed tail ready, the end pierced Thalleous's skin as Thalleous froze, he fell to the side as his limbs stayed the same, Lily ran to Thalleous's aid, she kicked Tygren down as he bared his teeth, Tygren jumped up onto his feet as his tail lashed angrily, "I dare you to do that again" Tygren hissed at Lily, Thalleous started to loose consciousness, but Lily kept him awake, Hadion kicked Tygren to the ground as he pinned him down. Galadar rushed to Thalleous and picked him up, Luna froze in fear as she saw Thalleous loosing consciousness, Tygren tried to kick Hadion off him, but with no success, Hadion held his blade at Tygren's abdomen as he pinned him down by his neck, Tygren kept calm, he noticed a pocket knife by him, Tygren swiftly grabbed it and stabbed it into Hadion's side, Hadion yowled in pain as he fell to his side as thick warm blood poured from his wound, now it was Luna's and Lily's turn.

Luna shot an arrow at Tygren, Tygren blocked it with his sword as he approached the two, Lily panicked, but she was ready. Tygren picked up speed, Lily stood in front of Luna as she slashed her blades at Tygren, Tygren had a small cut on his chest, "heh, your good" Tygren said with a toothy grin, he kicked Lily away with his animal like back legs, making Lily hit the side of the Nether portal. Tygren approached Luna with a grin on his face, "well, well, well, looks like we've got a female at our hands" Tygren cackled, "w-w-what do you mean?" Luna hissed, "we love to torture females, and, it looks like we've got the leader of the Ardonian Army..." Tygren grabbed Luna's neck as he threw her to the ground, Luna gasped for air as Tygren put his foot on his side, a sharp pain traveled up her ribs as Tygren stood on her harder. With little moments to act, Thalleous snapped out of his drowsy state and slashed Tygren on the back, Tygren yowled as the barbed end of his tail stabbed Luna in the arm, Luna screamed, then her head flopped down as she went unconscious. Hadion eventually got up and picked up Hawken as blood poured from his wound, Zulius swiftly used his Aggressium song to blast Voltaris out of the way, "COME ON! NOWS OUR CHANCE TO ESCAPE!" Zulius shouted, Thalleous picked up the short unconscious female Ardoni and hauled her onto his shoulder, Lily got up and ran to Zulius, then everyone ran for their lives, away from the Voltaris.

They ran and ran as the snow crunched under their feet, "GRAB ON EVERYONE!" Thalleous shouted, everyone ran by Thalleous, making contact with him, then, majestic yellow swirls formed around Thalleous, then it started to spread to everyone, then, a burst of energy teleported the group forwards, everyone went down the rocky path, leading to the warmer and humid forest down below, Zulius put his staff away as he opened his arms wide, revealing the membranes under his arms, then he jumped off, Zulius glided down onto a tree just as everyone else made it down, but the Voltaris were no where to be seen.
