'A cold realisation'

Lily opened her eyes, she found herself on a small bed, "Wh-Wh...what...?" Lily stammered, "oh good, your awake" came a soft voice, it was Achillean, "I got to admit Lily, that was...-"
"Stupid! I know! I just..." Achillean looked at Lily as his eyes softened, "it wasn't stupid Lily, you combatted emotions, and everyone has to snap at one point, and it looked like death was the key to make you snap" Achillean walked over to Lily as she shedded tears, "Achillean...Angela's death is my fault...if a never blinded Ingressus's left eye then...then none of this would've ever happened..." Lily bared her teeth as she let out a sob, Achillean gently grabbed Lily's fringe and moved it away from the Hybrid side of her face, "it's okay Lily...it's okay to do something like that...I understand how angry you were when Angela died, no one expected it, even I didn't! If I were you I would attack Ingressus for justice, but keep in mind that revenge isn't always the answer, I am planning to make amends with the Voltaris-"

"WHAT?! How can you make amends with them when they killed THOUSANDS of innocent people?!" Lily exclaimed, "Lily...two wrongs don't make a right, the only way to make peace is to make amends. And, all of Ardonia believes that the Voltaris were always evil, am I right?" Lily looked up at Achillean, "yes, I was raised into believing the Voltaris were always evil" Lily admitted, "well, I grew up with a Voltaris, and that was Ingressus himself" Lily's eyes widened, "w-what?" Lily stammered, "indeed I did, Ingressus wasn't born a Nestoris, he used to be a normal Voltaris until a Sendaris killed his father, but he can't remember who did it, he explained that he fell into some water due to an Aggressium song and was unconscious in the water. After a days of drifting on the water, I found Ingressus and brought him to master Aegus Nestoris, I suggested that we should kill him but, he refused, he wanted Ingressus to join the clan, and so he initiated Ingressus. After a while of getting to know Ingressus, we became close friends, he also said I was like a brother to him! But when the tournament came, he wanted to participate so he could make amends with the clans, and you know the rest of the story..." Achillean sighed.

Lily was shocked, "why is Ingressus angry at you then?" Lily asked, "because I was the one who suggested that he'd join and reveal his clan, I-I thought everyone would react differently...but instead they denied him the Prime Songs..." Achillean sighed, there was a pained gleam in his eyes, "oh...I'm sorry to hear that Achillean..." Lily sighed as she sat up, pulling Achillean into a hug. Achillean froze then he let his head rest on Lily's shoulder, Achillean let out a high pitched purr as his tail wagged from delight. Achillean lazily moved his head closer to to side of Lily's neck, Lily twitched from the warmness of his breathing as she smiled.

Luna miserably walked into Achillean's den with Thalleous, "hi Lily..." Luna said miserably, "hi Luna..." Lily replied as Thalleous walked over to Lily, "you alright now?" Thalleous asked Lily as he tried to muster a smile as Achillean sighed, "how was Angela's funeral..?" He asked as Thalleous looked down, "heartbreaking..." Thalleous sighed as Luna left the den, "I'll be back, Luna's been struggling with her emotions ever since Angela died..." Thalleous got up and walked out of the den as Achillean shrugged at Lily.

Thalleous walked around, searching for Luna. Eventually he found Luna, she was sitting on a ledge where the sun settee far off in the distance with the water in the ocean splashing below, "you alright Luna?" Thalleous asked as he sat down by her, his legs dangling off the ledge, "n-no...!" Luna replied in a trembling voice, "I lost by closest friend! How do you think that feels?!" Luna half yelled as Thalleous looked down at his feet, "I...I know how it feels Luna...I lost every sibling in the Great War...apart from Galleous...but...I injured him and now...he hates me..." Thalleous's heart ached thinking about how he injured his brother on accident, Thalleous looked at the waves from the ocean and remembered how he would play in the water with Galleous in Sendaria, he missed those times.

A tear dripped down Thalleous's cheek as his breathing trembled, he was about to break, Luna looked over to Thalleous and grabbed his hand, "Thalleous, it's okay..." Luna reassured as Thalleous's eyes met hers, Luna couldn't help but get mesmerised by Thalleous's sparkling blue eyes, "Thalleous...your eyes..." Luna muttered as Thalleous blinked, letting tears escape from his eyes, "they're pretty, aren't they?" Thalleous replied as he mustered a smile, "Thalleous, they're not pretty! They're beautiful! They're just like diamonds..." Luna protested as her gaze landed on Thalleous's eyes again. Thalleous gently cupped Luna's cheek, Luna heavily leaned into Thalleous's hand as she closed her eyes, Thalleous budged closer to Luna as he nuzzled her on the cheek, letting out a deep purr. Luna returned the nuzzling as she purred with Thalleous. Their horns scraped against eachother as Luna purred in pleasure from the feeling, she never wanted to stop nuzzling Thalleous, she really didn't...

Eventually Thalleous lifted his head from her cheek, then he cupped her cheek again, "May I...?" Thalleous asked with a warm smile, Luna nodded as her tail swished happily. Thalleous leaned in and before he knew it, Luna lips were pressed against his, Thalleous pulled Luna closer as her hands rested on his shoulders as their tails intertwined with eachother. Thalleous pulled away, gasping to refill his lungs, Luna smiled, "too much?" She teased, "nope, not even close!" Thalleous replied as he swiftly dived back into the kiss, Luna was in a state of shock before closing her eyes, her hands cupping both of his cheeks. Thalleous purred at Luna's touch as he rested his hands onto her hips, pulling her in closer. Luna's tail wagged happily as Thalleous pulled away, "happy now?" Thalleous asked with a smile, "happy" Luna replied as she let her hands rest on Thalleous's shoulder.

Luna buried her head into Thalleous's chest fur as she purred, Thalleous smiled and nuzzled Luna's shoulder affectionately, their tails wagging. Luna let her head rest on Thalleous's chest, "I love you Thalleous...I really do..." Luna muttered as her gaze met Thalleous's eyes, Thalleous's eyes twinkled as his pupils retracted in large circles, making him look cute and innocent, "I love you too, Luna..." Thalleous replied as he nuzzled Luna's neck, Luna twitched at the warmth of Thalleous, "your warm! No...HOT!" Luna exclaimed with a laugh, "always have been a, ahem: 'warm-bug', at least that was what my family called me" he shrugged before nuzzling Luna again, Luna rubbed her cheek against Thalleous's cheek, Thalleous stopped nuzzling Luna and rubbed his cheek against hers, there heads moving in many directions.
