'Stargazing'

Lily looked at the stars, admiring how the glowed and twinkled brightly in the sky, Lily always thought she was ugly and unattractive, but her mother always reassured her that she would always be beautiful. Lily let out a deep sigh, then Thalleous sat down by her, "how're you doing?" Thalleous asked, "good, and what were you and Luna doing? Having romance?" Lily teased, Thalleous looked down with defeat in his eyes, "yes...we did..." Thalleous sighed, "OoOOo!~ tell me about it!~" Lily teased, Thalleous smiled, "kissing let's say" Thalleous let out a breathless chuckle, "ew! I'll never understand romance...WELP TELL ME MORE!" Lily urged, "nuzzling and that's it" Thalleous shrugged, "nuzzling? Is that the thing where Ardoni kinda, uuuhhh, run their noses along someone shoulder? Or- anywhere on their body to be precise?" Lily asked, "correct, I really like nuzzling at times, it feels good to show someone I love them, but...I never get to do it often, it genuinely hurts my feelings when people deny my love and affection, it is kinda rare to see: 'a Thalleous in the wild wanting to nuzzle you' kinda thing" Thalleous sighed as Lily sat up.

Now Lily wanted to be nuzzled by him, even though she wasn't a big fan of nuzzling to begin with, Lily looked away before looking back at Thalleous, she could see how much he wanted to show he cared for her in his eyes, "you can nuzzle me if you want" Lily eventually said, Thalleous looked utterly shocked, "really? Wont it bother you...? You told me you don't like people nuzzling you..." Thalleous asked, "no, if that's what you want then I can't stop you" Lily replied with a smile. Thalleous nodded and budged closer to Lily, then he started to nuzzle her gently on the neck, but the feeling wasn't weird, it was pleasant. Lily gently gripped Thalleous's hand as he started to nuzzle her cheek, eventually Thalleous pulled away with his face still concerned, "are you sure your okay with this?" Thalleous asked, Lily smiled, "yes! It feels very nice! When your doing it it feels different..." Lily replied.

Thalleous pulled Lily into his arms as he nuzzled Lily affectionately, occasionally letting out a deep purr. Luna walked into the clearing, "aawwww!" Luna squealed quietly before walking into a bush, wanting to watch the whole thing. Thalleous brought his knees up higher as Lily gently leaned on his chest, Thalleous slowly scooted near a tree and leaned on it, letting Lily lay on his chest, "more nuzzling please" Lily pleaded as Thalleous smiled, "alrighty!" Thalleous replied as he nuzzled Lily's head. Lily didn't feel so safe ever she left her home, yes the DeathSinger is out there, but Thalleous always seemed to make Lily feel so secure, like he was a parent to her, he constantly treated her with respect and honesty and treated her like she was a miracle, which Lily liked. Everyone often made a joke from it with Lily to have a laugh, which Lily often appreciated.

Thalleous's tail started to wag and Lily noticed, "Thalleous! Your tail's wagging!" She exclaimed, "yes? Why?" Thalleous asked confused, "it's so CUTE!" Lily squealed as a warm smile grew on Thalleous's face, "thank you!" Thalleous replied, giving Lily a gentle hug. Lily melted into Thalleous's hug, never wanting to let go, Lily let her head lay on Thalleous's chest as he stroked her back gently. Lily loved the feeling of Thalleous stroking her back without her armour blocking it, Lily wore skinny black clothes underneath that prevented overheating. Lily slowly turned onto her back as she gazed at the stars, Thalleous looked up at the stars with her, "it's crazy to think Angela's up there.." Lily started.

Thalleous sighed, "yes, one of those stars are her" Thalleous replied, he couldn't believe Angela sacrificed herself for him, Thalleous would've preferred to die than see Luna be this upset. Lily slowly let out a shaky breath, "and same of those stars..." Thalleous began as Lily turned her attention to him, "are my family..." Thalleous sighed, "Thalleous, I'm...Im sorry..." Lily replied, "no! No! It's okay!" Thalleous hesitated.

Lily looked down as her hands, "Thalleous...sometimes I really want to disappear in these times, like if I never existed...the DeathSinger's out there and the Great War is returning...I...I don't think I can stop it, even though I am the one whose connected to the goddesses, I just...I want to stop my demons from entering my mind, but sometimes...I let them..." Thalleous looked at Lily with concern, "Lily...you've been like a child to me..." Thalleous said as Lily's eyes widened, what did he just say about her? But then Thalleous continued, "but not in a bad way." Thalleous gripped both of Lily's hands as he held eye contact steadily, "sometimes..." Thalleous took a few shaky breaths before rethinking his words, he bit his lip as he began, "Sometimes...I feel...like a father figure to you..." Lily registered his words in her mind, then Lily's eyes widened in shock, Lily looked up at Thalleous, "I know, it's stupid considering you already have a family..."

Lily cupped her mouth gently as her eyes glimmered, "Thalleous...why would you think that's stupid? It's normal to feel this way to a child friend..." Lily advised, "Thalleous..." Lily began as he looked at her, "thank you, thank you for everything, I've never had a friend like you, let alone the Champion himself."
