Chloe had taken Addison home. She was worried about it as she knew how she was a new mum. And she was worried about how to make her daughter realise how loved she was.

She knew how Nick had stepped up. He was always there helping her. She knew how he had Ella too. Which made him want to help Chloe too.

Chloe was thankful how the Connor's had been there for her and Addison. She knew they wanted to keep the remaining part of Aidan close to them.

She knew that things weren't easy. Especially as there was a slight tension between Nick and Carla after their failed relationship. But they were overcoming that for Chloe's sake.

She was glad that the Connor's still classed her as family. She knew that she would always be apart of them.

All she knew was that things were seemingly going well for her. She was just having doubts about her ability to be a mum.

Morning came and she was sitting on the sofa with Addison. She heard the door opening and Nick walked in with Ella.

Ella gently toddled over to her. She smiled. "I see baby?" She asked.

"Yeah. You can see her."

Ella climbed onto the sofa next to her. "She cute!"

Chloe smiled. Nick walked over. He took Addison from her and smiled. "Go have a shower. You stink."

"Oh thanks. I see you have your tag along," Chloe said.

Nick nodded. "Brooke was taking her to nursery. But she decided to come and see you instead," he told her.

Chloe grinned. She walked into the bathroom. She had a quick shower. Wanting to get back to her baby.

Chloe had left Nick with Addie while she went for a walk. She needed some fresh air. She smiled as she saw Brooke. "Hey. Your daughter is currently playing on my Xbox."

Brooke smiled. "She has an obsession with Minecraft at the moment. She can't play properly. But she plays with Ryan," she said. She looked to her. "How are you feeling?"

Chloe sighed. "I look at Addie. And I think... Aidan should be here. But then, he's not. He won't ever get to see her. She won't get to know her daddy."

"I know it's not the same. But she has Nick. He's better than nothing. And she has us Connor's too. We won't let her not know who her dad is," Brooke told her.

Chloe smiled. "Thanks Brooke. You're a good mum you know. I know all you've been through. But you are a good mum."

"Thanks. I try. But I do think for now, she's better off with Nick. I want to get my GCSEs and become something good."

Chloe smiled as she saw Johnny. Johnny looked to her and smiled. "Hiya. How's the baby?" He asked.

Chloe nodded. "She's fine thanks. You should come over and see her. Her name is Addison."

"I'd like that. You let me know when the time is okay for you," Johnny said as he walked off.

Chloe stood there and sighed. Wanting to make it work with the Connor's for Addison's sake. But she didn't trust Johnny.

But did Chloe have reason to trust her doubts?
