Chloe knew how she was worried about Johnny being around Addison. It wasn't that she didn't want him in her baby's life. She was just worried about it.
She hadn't told anyone how she was feeling. Knowing she was worried about how they would treat her. And how they would tell her that she was just being paranoid.
Chloe couldn't help but feel like maybe she was being paranoid. But she was worried. She knew that while things weren't easy at all, something needed to be done.
She needed to talk to Nick. Knowing he was the one who had been there for her. He had been her rock. And she knew if she was to speak to the Connor family, they would assume she was trying to keep Addison from them. Which she wasn't.
It was a complicated mess. And she just didn't know how to even handle it all. She wanted things to be okay. Not for her. But for Addison's sake. Knowing she wanted her little girl to have her family in her life.
She was thankful she had Nick. She knew she wouldn't have coped without having him there. She knew she wanted to make it work with him.
All she knew was that things were complicated. And she just had to somehow hope and believe it would be okay. Despite how she was feeling.
Morning came and she was lying in bed with Nick. Addison was asleep in the Moses basket. Nick looked to her. "Brooke text me. She says you haven't been spending much time with her. Is everything okay?" He asked.
Chloe sighed. She looked to him. "Yeah it's fine. It's just... there's something about Johnny I don't trust. He's her grandad. I know that. I just... I don't know. I feel like I can't trust him. But he's Brooke's family too. So I don't know how she will feel that I don't trust him," she told him.
Nick smiled. "You know I'm here for you. I won't let him do anything to hurt you or Addison," he said.
"I know."

Chloe walked through the street. She had taken Addison to daycare and she was trying to find something to do. She saw Brooke sitting on a bench with books around her.Chloe walked over and smiled. "Hey. How's it going? The studying?" She asked as she sat with her.
Brooke shrugged and sighed. "Impossible. I don't physically think I can do this. My head hurts just trying to make it make sense," she said as she groaned. "My mum has Ella. Says I need to not get distracted by her cuteness."
Chloe took the book from her and smiled. "I did all of this. I can help you," she told her.
"Thanks. Can I come over tomorrow?"
"Course you can."

Chloe was in the shop. She looked up to see Johnny. He smiled to her. "So I was thinking. Maybe Jenny and I could take Addison for a couple of days. She's our granddaughter. And we want to spend some time with her," he said.Chloe frowned. "I don't know about a couple of days. But a couple of hours would be fine. It's just... she's so small. And I don't feel comfortable her being away for more than a couple of hours," she told him.
Johnny just nodded and walked out. But Chloe had no idea how things were about to take a turn for the worst.
