"Eddie-bear! I'm going now. I'll be gone for a couple of days. I'll see you when I get back!" Sonia Kaspbrack called out to her son, who was in his bed reading an X-men comic. "Okay mommy!" Eddie yelled back, smiling and getting up to close the door to his room.
Knock, knock, knock. Eddie looked toward his door confused, then to his window. "Who's there?" Eddie asked skeptically. "Your mom!" The voice called from behind the window. Eddie automatically knew who it was, getting up and opening the curtains covering the window. On the windowsill holding onto a shaking tree branch, hung Richie Tozier. He was wearing his normal outfit, a beat up pair of converse with his ugly Hawaiian flannel. Except he was wearing a pair of ripped skinny jeans that didn't fail to make Eddie blush.
"What's up, Ed's! You gonna let me in or do I gotta kick your window down?" Richie said, pushing up his glasses with his free hand. "Yeah yeah, dickface. I'm opening it." Eddie mumbled still blushing. He unlocked and pushed up the window, Richie tumbling in and lying on the floor. "Looks like I've fallen for you again." Richie said with a chuckle. Eddie sat on the floor next to him and smiled. "Looks like it." Richie grabs Eddie's wrist and pulls him on top of his chest, wrapping his arms around Eddie. Eddie just took it and snuggled into Richie's chest.
"Hey honey?" Richie said kissing Eddie's hair. Eddie shot up and stumbled back, shoving his hands in front of his face. "W-wha!? What did you call me!?" Richie smiled and moved Eddie's hands climbing in front of him. "Honey~" Richie said sweetly. Eddie turned a deeper red and scrambled, trying to remove himself from Richie's grip on his arms. Richie pinned him to the floor and laughed. "You like that name?" Richie asked dipping his head down to kiss Eddie.
They kissed for a moment, and then broke apart. Eddie's face still beat red and Richie still smirking. "So honey..." Richie started and Eddie blushed again, but this time his mouth lifted into a smile "I wanted to tell you I love you." Richie said laying down again. Eddie giggled and Richie swore he felt his heart melt. "I love you too, Rich."
