Reddie Oneshots

🌤️• Hair and Butterflies •🌤️

Two boys sat on Richie Tozier's floor, in his bedroom. Eddie smiled and sorted the rainbow colored bands on the floor, as well as the hair clips and bands, and brush. Richie had promised that the boy could do his growing black hair, and Richie is not one to break promises. Especially to his Eds. "Richie come on!! I want to do your hair!!" Richie walked in the room from the bathroom with a towel around his waist. Eddie blushed and looked away quickly before throwing sweatpants and a white t-shirt at him. Richie laughed at the boys face, and bent down to place a small kiss on the boys lips.

Richie towel dried his curly black hair. And sat down in front of the boy laughing. "Hey, babe." Eddie rolled his eyes and laughed under his breath. "Come here." Eddie said moving some hair stuff aside, so the taller boy could come in front of him. "So, one day you're a doctor, the next a hairdresser? What can't you do?" Richie teased. Eddie rolled his eyes again and grabbed a rubber band from the pile. "I can do everything. I'm awesome like that."  Richie smiled and agreed as Eddie finished putting two more hair ties in his hair, making two pigtails. Eddie smiled and put a butterfly clip in the front before leaning back to see his creation.

Richie just sat still and let his boyfriend do what he wanted, staring at him lovestruck every time he would reach up to the top of his head, or stick out his tounge while he's concentrating. Eddie noticed the stupid smile on Richie's face and inched closer to the boy. Richie placed his hand on Eddie's, and brought it to his chest. "You are the only person who can make me nervous, Ed's." Eddie laughed. "That's so corny." Richie smiled and flipped them, so Richie was on top of Eddie. "For you and only you, my love." Richie whispered before dipping down and connecting their lips. Eddie kissed back and smiled into the kiss, placing his hands on both sides of Richie's face.

Richie broke the kiss and got up, helping the smaller off his elbows, and up onto his feet. Richie walked over to a small radio and turnt it on.

I see the crystal raindrops fall

As if it was on command, it started to rain outside. Richie opened the curtains and turned off the lights, kicking the hair stuff out of the middle of the room.

And the beauty of it all

Eddie looked into Richie's eyes and smiled, and Richie struggled to push all of the stuff to the side. He wrapped his arm around his stomach and giggled.

Is when the sun comes shining through

Richie looks over at the boy and his eyes glowed looking at the male in front of him. His boyfriend giggled. Eddie was perfect.

To make those rainbows in my mind,

Eddie swore Richie was the only person who made him feel as though he was enough. As they inched towards each other  in the dark room, hearing the raindrops on the outside of the window, Eddie couldn't help but love the boy in front of him.

And I wanna spend some time with you.

Richie held out his hand and bent slightly looking at Eddie. "May I have this dance, my prince?" Eddie looked around, as if he was thinking about it. "After careful consideration I choose...yes. You may have this dance. Richie Tozier." Richie held Eddie's hand and placed one of his hands on Eddie's waist. Eddie put his head delicately on Richie's shoulder.

Just the two of us

The two boys slow danced in the dark only caring about each others embrace. They are in love.

We can make it if we tried

Despite all odds, the two boys managed to find love in a cruel world. They both believed that with each other the world may be less cruel. They could make it together.
