Eddie Kaspbrack was a simple, yet complex boy. He loved video games and hanging out with his friends at the Quarry. But there was something else he loved. Richie Tozier. He had known the boy for about 5 years, since he was 9 years old.

Eddie was sitting at home, mindlessly doodling in a book, when the phone began to ring. He walked to the phone, picking it up and rolling his eyes. "Eddie's Kaspbrack speaking." He said, annoyed. He heard girl over the phone. "Hey, Eddie! Sleepover at mine, you wanna come?" Eddie smiled at Beverly's voice. "Eh..." he said, contemplating. Beverly sighed over the phone. "Richie is coming." Beverly said.

Eddie was soon walking to the girls house as he cursed himself. He gripped the straps of his bag, and pouted, walking to the house. "Eddie, you're such an idiot. Going to a girls house because of a boy. Your so ridiculous." He scolded himself, but continued to pace forward at a fast speed. Soon he came to an apartment building, and climbed up the stairs. He knocked on the door and rolled his eyes, huffing. Soon the door opened

In the doorway, stood the boy in question, Richard Wentworth Tozier. He was wearing a pair of black skinny jeans, and a sweater to combat the cold weather. Somehow his presence put a smile on Eddie's face whether or not he liked it. "Eds!" Richie exclaimed. His large red glasses slipping down his nose. His eyes wide and welcoming. His arms were out as he engulfed Eddie into a warm hug. Eddie tried to pull out it, but his efforts end up in vain as Richie was way stronger.

Beverly walked by and winked at Eddie who was still stuck in the trap waiting for him at the door. Richie finally let go of Eddie and planted a loud kiss on his cheek. Eddie wiped his cheek off and acted disgusted, regardless of the fact that he love it when Richie kissed his cheek. "Ew! That's so gross, Richie. Like..do you know how many germs can be contracted through that?!"  Eddie exclaimed, as Richie picked him up and threw him over his shoulder. Eddie screamed and kicked Richie, as Richie laughed and placed a hand on his back. "I'm not gonna drop you, Eddie Spaghetti!" Eddie was still squealing and kicking.

They entered the room with the rest of the losers bundled up on the couch. Stan and Bill together, and Beverly and Ben together. Eddie looked around and raised an eyebrow, crossing his arms. "Where's Mike?" He asked, sassily. "Mike said he couldn't make it." Stan said monotone. Eddie smiled at Stan and shook his head in understanding.

He sat next to Stan, who sat up from Bills shoulder and instantly took Eddie in his arms. Bill looked at Stan offended. "You're going to leave you one and only boyfriend to go be with EDDIE?!" He said, playfully. Stan nodded. "But look at him!" He said, squishing Eddie's cheeks, who had turned pink in the cheeks. "He's so baby!" Stan smiled. Bill nodded and shrugged. "Can't fight with the baby card."

Richie laughed and sat next to Eddie. Eddie blushed and his legs started bouncing when Richie sat next to him. Everyone besides Richie realized it and smirked at each other. Eddie looked at Richie through the sides of his eyes and began blushing deeper. He studied Richie's face. The way his glasses are too big for him, the way he adorably smirked whenever Stan said something sarcastic. The way he full on belly laughed whenever someone would tell a joke. He thought it was beautiful.

On the other hand, Richie was doing all of this to impress Eddie. He would tell stories, and jump on the couch, just so Eddie would think he was cool. What Eddie didn't see (it was fairly obvious) was that Richie was in love with him too. The only ones that's didn't know the feelings were mutual were the boys themselves. Beverly has been trying for a year now after finding out Richie's feeling through pestering and prodding to get the boys together. The same for Stan with Eddie.
