002 - Softball Game

"y/n! get back into that shed and give them girls a talk!" he yelled. "yes sir," i say running back in there. "we can't do this," Mila says. "it's not gonna be a good game," Jaz says. "hey! it won't be a good game if you keep telling yourselves that! we need to go out there, show that team that we are good enough! show Coach Danny! show the crowd! We CAN NOT let this team, see how we feel before we walk out onto that field! heads high, NO low talk, walk out there proud and don't be scared to show your skills!" i yelled as some clapped.

"NOW FOR THE GAME WEVE BEEN NEEDING TO SEE, WELCOME THE TIGERS!"

"alright girls, this is our time, to show who we are, who coached us, and what we can become," i yell.

"NOW LETS HEAR IT FOR THE BUDFORD BEE'S!"

We run out and shake the other teams hands. "left or right tigers?" he asked holding the ball behind his back. "right," she spoke. "wrong, bee's bat or field?" he asked. "field," i say. Everyone went back to the bench. I put my catcher armour on.

"MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE FIELD PLAYERS!"

While the other spread on the field, i squat into catcher. "skipp," coach yelled and hand signalled to me. i hand signalled to Shelby telling her to curve it.

"STRIKE ONE!"

"STRIKE TWO!"

"AND STRIKE THREE! amazing pitching from Shelly!"

It was our turn to bat. Mila was up first.

"STRIKE ONE!"

Mila hit the seconds and made it to 2nd. Nyla was next. She hit the 1st and Made it to 2nd as Mila made it to home. Hally got 2 strikes, hits the third. Everyone had, already had a go at bat, now my turn.

"AND AND AMAZING BAT FROM SKIPP! MAKES IT TO HOME!"

"yes!" they yelled. "let's go!" the crowd goes. Everyone cheered. We played and surprisingly won. We run back to our shed and sing our chant.

"yes girls!" coach yelled. "hey, now you owe us dinner," i smiled. "yes, be there at 8," he laughed. I packed my bag up and drive home with Shelly. "did yous win?" Chris asked. "of course we did," Shelby smiled. "let me guess? homerun?" Matt asked. "yes sir!" i yelled before running to my room. I took a shower then Shelby did.
