Chapter 12: { Fancy dinner date? }

Another day, another life. Nene and Tsukasa walk along side together. Just like yesterday Tsukasa had prepared food for the both of them. This time it was sunny side up eggs with delicious cooked bacon on the side followed with fresh milk to help digest the food she ete.

Nene din't quite talk the whole entire walk all towards to school. She was feeling heavy and worried for her Mother she didn't came home at all. She wasn't even answering her calls nor her text.

Tsukasa noticed this through out the whole walk to school. So he decided to cheer her up with some treats today. She loves treats right? And sweets?

"Nene-chan?" Tsukasa called out.

Nene turned to face Tsukasa. "Oh, uhmm yes Tsukasa-kun?"

"Nothing, just making sure you weren't dozing off that's all." Tsukasa said making his way in front of Nene and giving her a cocky smile before he turned around and continued to walk forward.

Nene couldn't help but chuckle from his actions. Yes it was annoying but it was also kinda cute.

She looked to the right eyeing the sunrise going into position as they walk. Some golden and brown Leaves were falling down. Right, autumn is just around the corner. It was also getting cold.

Not only that but autumn also signals that they only had a few months left before summer vacation starts. But there is going to be a autumn festival too!

*Bell rings*

Nene woke up from the sound of the school bell indicating it was now lunch break.

Did I seriously slept the whole entire Morning!???

She got up with an annoying groan while she rub her eyes not to hard. Nene picked up her bags, she was about to leave the classroom  but she was called by someone.

"Nene-chan!"

Nene turned around to see who it was. Well it wasn't really shocking, ut was only Aoi, Nene's best friend.

"Aoi?" Nene said.

"Nene-chan are you alright? You literally slept during the entire class!" Aoi questions.

"Well... I haven't got much sleep that's all." She hesitated for a moment but found her voice and lied to Aoi.

"Oh really? Then, I hope you'll get better soon Nene-chan. And Nene-chan?"

"Hmm?" Nene hummed.

"Have you seen Amane-kun around?" She questioned.

"Uhmm no, why?" Nene as a girl full of curiosity questioned.

"Nothing much." She said putting her right arm bellow her chin with a smile like she's hiding something that's Nene wasn't suppose to know.

"O-ok?" She said.

"Anyway, goodbye Nene-chan!" Aoi was about to ran off but got stopped by Nene.

"Wait! Aren't you going to eat lunch with me????" She questioned.

Aoi smiled at her best friend as she puts her arm under her chin again. Aoi somehow broke the eye contact between Nene and hers. Aoi was now looking behind Nene.

Nene somehow felt uneasy at this point.

"I guess I thought that you where already going to eat lunch with him." Aoi said pointing her free hand behind Nene.

Nene turned around and saw Tsukasa smiling while his eyes where closed. Nene flinched at the sight of Tsukasa. How come she din't hear Tsukasa came in? Is he even human? Or is he just something else?
